If I had to pick just one, it would be The Searchers (1956) with John Wayne. Outstanding movie!

That's not the issue.Don't get out much do you? Gatsby is right on target. Fifteen year olds probably like R movies more than adults do. The movie rating system is shot, as long as a fifteen year old has a parent with them, they can watch R films in the theatre.
15 year olds are into Fast and Furious, Real Steal and Thor; not movies about ass-fuck twins, sports teams called The Beers and movies about gangsters and drugs doing things they haven't even experienced or know anything about.LMAO. Those movies are very much made for 15-year-old boys. They are definitely part of the demo.

When I was 15, I was into Billy Jack, Vanishing Point and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.So, you're saying you're a higher class of 15-year-old.

Maybe the movie is a little too deep for you grasp? If you like dopey movies that are mildly funny on a juvenile level, you'll be delighted. Actually, I saw it once or twice and liked it somewhat at the time. But seeing it on a top ten list for all-time great movies is nothing short of ridiculous.

E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial was pretty big back then too.
Back to the Future! Now that was a movie made for 15 year olds.If it makes you feel better; I'm cynical of movies in general. I rarely watch them, and even the ones I enjoy at the time, I can criticize plenty in hindsight. LOL I just have really high standards for what makes a great movie.
Hoosiers, The Natural, Memento, Bridge Over The River Kwai, Animal House, Back To The Future, etc. Those are the types of movies that belong in the discussion for me.

Baseketball has the most thought-provoking perspective towards professional sports more than any movie ever made. The only movie that even comes close, was North Dallas Forty.
That's your opinion.Back To The Future is made for all ages though. It's not just something that an emotionally stunted male wanker is heavily into.
Mmm...I recall some though provoking concepts in baseketball. But it's hardly a mature movie on the whole.
