When the Commodore 64 was released in 1982, people took notice of a modern age market demand for personal computing.

The sales success of this model preceded the successes of Steve Jobs' see-thru iMac in 1998.

This 'developing' revolution in consumerism signaled the beginning of Internet access to Wall Street, business technologies that could reflect a new age interest in high-speed exchange of goods and information.

Such revolutionary progress is presented in the engaging TV movie "Pirates of Silicon Valley" (1999).

Is Netflix the new revolution?

No, at least not like the personal computer, or Commodore.
Netflix is a revolution in mostly one field - Television. It has/is changing the way people watch it.
In another 5-10 years cable TV will be dead. And that started with Netflix.
