True enough....something easily given up. Its better for everyone if we did. I am not a democratic socialist since I don't believe in democracy but its a damn good start if you ask me.

She didn't mention that Denmark doesn't have to have a military...also that the average earner pays about 56% of their earnings in taxes.
In America
She would bring home -- $44,530 approx...half of health cost if married, about $4000.
Soo..she keeps about $40,000.
In Denmark...she keeps about $27,084
So unless she has $1000 a month in healthcare cost her entire life - she is far better off in the American system

I wouldn't mind paying more in taxes if that's the benefits I got in return. Not only would I get to use the benefits but my kids and grandkids and everyone else.

None of it is "free" you vapid ****. It's paid for with your taxes, regardless of whether or not you want or even use those services.

So they get taken care if from cradle to grave. That must be why their industry is so great, or their space program has accomplished so much, or their healthcare system has developed so many of the worlds breakthroughs, or why they were able to lead the world in technology, or why people are sneaking accross their borders by the thousands just to taste the life they lead......oh wait! Never mind.

Denmark doesn't have an empire to maintain.

Neither does America. Not in the conventional sense, anyway. The difference being is that America's predecessors' empires were colonised not only to extract natural resources, but to create living space and opportunities for the mother country's people. America's 'empire' is focused on one thing and one thing only: the stewardship of the world's oil supply.

You pay taxes here as well you moron but you still must pay for healthcare and education...America lacks in so many areas when put up against European countries. Especially healthcare and education.

Which wouldn't be so bad if we got a cut of the world's oil economy for our services. Some form of petro-tribute if you will.

To do this in a country the size of America, including the massive and necessary military.
The tax rate would have to be at least 70%. That would be my guess.
So if you made $20 per hour, or $41,600 - you would bring home $10,400 a year, or about $200 a week. Good luck with that.

Denmark Economy: Population, GDP, Inflation, Business, Trade, FDI, Corruption

Denmark vs. United States Economic Freedom Chart

Not much difference from the US but they enjoy SO MUCH MORE! So keep going.

Military needs DRASTICALLY cut.

What you are not accounting for is the fact that less than half of WORKING Americans pay any federal income tax.
That would be 0% tax Orion.
So in order for us to pay all of their health costs and education cost, and likely housing cost...we would damn near have to pay 100% tax.

Take a look at France right now.

Which means place like Denmark would have to start footing the bills for a military to ensure stability of trade at sea, oil production, etc. So now Denmark gets to decide to either raise their already high taxes, cut social services, or keep writing bad checks.

Which will it be?

How do we fix that? The people not paying any taxes I mean...obviously with free education more will take advantage of that plus I would base this on a white only nation as well.

Denmark Military Strength

Needs a little bigger not much though. So they already have a military, they stay out of other nations business so they are already on the right track.
