The Politics Of Inflation

For 3 1/2 years now the left have been referring to inflation as being due to any number of reasons.

1. It's Trump's fault

2. There is no inflation, inflation was just transitory

3. The pandemic caused supply chain issues

4. The war in Ukraine caused inflation

5. The Middle East conflict has caused inflation

6. It's Climate Change

But now, all of a sudden, inflation wasn't due to any of those issues. Inflation is all price gauging by greedy companies.

So, lefties, which one is it?

Enough of the lefty crap.

Corporate4 profits have been skyrocketing since companies have raised prices. Corporate financial statements prove that companies are raising prices because they want to not because they have to. If companies were raising prices to cover increased costs then their profits would be relatively stable.

A second reason is that we are seeing more oligopolies. This means less competition. That leads to higher prices. The industries that have seen the highest price increases are sectors which have few companies.

Kroger just recorded a profit loss

Cargill too

Yet harris wants to put price controls on food

Corporations raised their prices because their costs increased--raw products, energy, fuel, manpower. All increased largely because of democrat inflationary policies.

Another result of inflation. Larger companies can better weather the inflation storm. Smaller companies either disappear or are swallowed up by the larger companies. Democrats don't think beyond the end of their noses. You are correct fewer companies mean higher prices due to less competition--ain't inflation great--and Harris wants to raise the federal minimum wage after the huge successes they have seen on the west coast. LOL--ask McD's and Pizza Hut employees in CA--you know the ones that don't have jobs anymore because entry level jobs can't demand $22/hr. so the businesses move on to more profitable endeavors.

This is directly in line with the increases in fuel, oil and fertilizer prices that increased phenomenally after the policies that the Biden admin put in place in Jan. 2021. Fuel and oil more than doubled in price and fertilizers followed by nearly identical amounts.

Allah Is All About Oil

The jihadi OPECkers have caused every economic downturn since 1973, when their ally, American Big Oil, intimidated Nixon away from seizing the Arab oilfields. The resulting recession is the real reason he had to resign, since no popular President can be forced out of office by partisan accusations.

But but but but but, inflation is under control. What high prices? We either have high prices or we don't. Please make up your mind. You're saying inflation is being caused by corporate greed and then you're saying there is no inflation. Which one is it?

Every time they say there is no inflation, I go to the grocery store and fill my tank on the way home and the truth becomes very clear.

It was many of those factors INCLUDING Trump and Biden dumping trillions into the economy.

Why didn't they do this when Trump was president?

This is the goal of the left - drive all small businesses out of business, only leaving the Krogers, Walmarts. McDonalds, and Amazons and then they will use government controls telling them how they can operate.
