"The President of the United States is like Ronald McDonald...

Not this President. He's pulling the rug out from underneath the bureaucracy.

He is trying, but he's just one man. He has his own Party, the Democrats, and the entire Government Bureaucracy against him, and a very limited amount of time even IF he gets a second term.

So you think Al Gore would have been the same president as W.? How about McGovern and Nixon? Hillary and Trump?

Their personalities and approaches to their duties would have been substantially different ... ultimately, there would have been no long term difference in choosing one over the other.

Win or lose, there is always next season.

Simply put, it means that the US President is a decorative figurehead and that no matter who we elect, from either party, change won't come until the ensconced bureaucracy is overhauled.

Not this President. He's pulling the rug out from underneath the bureaucracy. A Trump Presidency has also rescued this country from mediocrity. Can you imaging how things would be if we were in the second year of a Hillary Clinton Presidency?
You cult members really do have your head up your ass. It's actually pretty sad.

Obama was President, and more radical than Al Gore, Kerry, and even possibly Hillary. Nothing much changed except Healthcare insurance, and for the worse. Now that has largely been dismantled, so except for more wars, more regulations that have been largely removed, and poor immigration policy, even Fundamental Transformation never happened.

Bedwetting is nothing to be ashamed of. You can conquer it some day.

Are presidents, bureaucrats, and elected officials on the receiving end of orders from unelected agents of transnational capital?

I'm afraid it's nothing so elegant. As terrific as it would be for a group of highly educated persons to be running things from behind the curtain... the sad and simple truth is, we are where we are, and we will be where we will be, from the actions of inefficient bureaucrats and self-serving politicians... all of whom 100% certain that they are doing the best for the rest of us.

I think Ronald McDonald is taken more seriously by the rest of the world when it comes to honesty.

I think it is far more likely the actions of inefficient bureaucrats and self-serving politicians are actually implemented on behalf of a global ruling class.
Phillips_Slide2.jpg

A transnational "superclass" of some 6,000-7000 individuals (0.0001% of humanity) who are 94% white males from North America and Europe with one big problem; an over-accumulation of capital. In effect, they have more money to invest than there are safe investments available.

That means they resort to investing in risky speculation of assorted asset classes, war and war preparation, and privatization of public resources.

Transnational capitalist class - Wikipedia

"According to Professor Leslie Sklair, in the transnational capitalist class there are four fractions which are corporate, state, technical and consumerist.[3]

"The four fractions stated by Professor Leslie Sklair, bring together transnational corporations (TNC), globalizing bureaucrats, globalizing professionals and merchants as well as the media as members of the TCC.

"Also according to the Sociology of the Global System,[3] the World Economic Forum (WEF) shows the existence of the TCC as the corporate fraction and the state fraction gather in Davos, Switzerland.

"The theory of the Transnational Capitalist Class has two main principles:[4]

  1. The transnational capitalist class collaborate to benefit their own interests (powerful lobbyists and super PACs);
  2. Nation states have less control over transnational capitalist corporations aiding in globalization."
Nation states, in effect, are being reduced to population containment zones with highly militarized police forces largely indifferent to human rights violations.
