This is a modernism commerce parable inspired by the parody-film Canadian Bacon.

Commerce had created an entirely new landscape in the modern world. Kids were playing video-games signifying a new age fascination with construction and destruction such as SimCity and Transformers. It was all about mobilization and community-building based on efficiency, merchandising, and management. New cities and towns focused on production of goods and distribution of services more than pedagoguery or rhetoric. It was pseudo-Orwellian but at the same time very...marketable.

With every civilization, there comes radicals, fanatics, fundamentalists, and of course, 'sacrificials.' The radicals/fanatics of this new age of commerce were 'capitalism-cowboys' from the West (i.e., Trump) and austerity-warlords (and terrorists) from the East (i.e., ISIS). These extremists were not shy about using commerce to draw South Korea away from North Korea (i.e., Trump-agenda during Labor Day nuclear-crisis) or warfare to create Black Friday havoc (i.e., Egypt mosque attack by ISIS). The fundamentalists of this new age of commerce, on the other hand, were media-conservatives (e.g., Don Imus) and Islamic 'pseudo-clerics' (i.e., bin Laden, Arafat, etc.). The 'sacrificials' were the odd-ducks. The 'sacrificials' were those ultra-conscious of their fate to become 'capitalism fall-guys,' 'suicide-bombers,' and 'pit-ponies.' The 'sacrificials' made self-aggrandizing statements such as, "We were the heroes who decided to lounge in the World Trade Center on 9/11, anticipating the terrorism scar of the new millennium!" Such statements were counter-productive to commerce but made for great gossip.

The Trump Administration believed the 'sacrificals' would ultimately one day all come from the Middle East and specifically from Islamic-fundamentalist terrorist groups. President Trump even suggested that the 'sacrificials' would start making incendiary 9/11 comments such as, "Since America is not a good 'Big Brother' to the Third World conscious World Bank, we profess our intent to protest in any rebuilt World Trade Center and await out punishment with delight!" The 'sacrificials' were designated as the 'vulnerable targets' of new age warfare, since they weren't really trained soldiers or statesmen but rather pedestrians and poets simply desiring to be declared as the 'lambs' of the age of commerce. The 'sacrificials' would trumpet, as Trump predicted, any kind of anti-imperial stand between the East and West and any 'crusader' who defied empires (e.g., Hannibal against Rome).

So what would the 'sacrificials' pick up as their 'spear of destiny'? What would be their protest-podium totem? It was decided by one poetic 'sacrificial' that this 'totem' should be a comparative display of an iconic sharp kitchen-tool and an iconic rustic field-weapon. The 'sacrificials' chose the Indian boti (a rustic/basic blade-and-board kitchen tool used for cutting foods on the floor with hand-and-foot --- quite deadly if not used with great care!) and the Webley pistol with attached mini-bayonet-blade (a terrific symbol of vicious combat and tool-use). The boti and the Webley comparison/diorama became the rallying-cry of the 'sacrificials' who were now planning a sit-down protest at the tourism-friendly Seattle Space-Needle tower-building on Black Friday, awaiting a symbolic terrorist-attack from ISIS which would send ripples across America regarding a modern unnatural fear of mercantilism instability and tourism frailties.

President Trump wanted to appease to the 'sacrificials' in the hope that they would not scatter across the globe and select various targets where consumerism and pedestrian traffic were symbolic so they could be 'martyred' as vulnerable/religious targets of new age anti-commerce oriented fundamentalism-terrorism. Trump suggested to the 'sacrificials' that they consult American think-tanks on the design of new age multiculturalism-oriented toys such as African-American Barbie-dolls and ethnic minority comic book superheroes such as Green Lantern John Stewart and Green Hornet Kato. The 'sacrificials' were inspired by this intellectual imaginarium challenge posed by Trump but wondered if they should abandon their boti-Webley diorama as their primary 'totem.' What was certain was that if the 'sacrificials' were not 'normalized' as 'priests,' pro-commerce institutions such as the World Bank would never be considered 'beacons of light' or optimism. After all, the 'sacrificials' reminded everyone of the need to designate 'terrorism victim' consciousness.
