The undemocratic tendencies of the democratic party

I've noticed this a lot in the last fifteen years or so that the democratic party tends to have a lot of undemocratic tendencies such as secretly making a deal with Iran in which they got some 400 million dollars. Obama did this in secret and a lot of his supporters justified this by saying it was there money anyways which, in itself, isn't a bad argument since we are holding quite a lot of their dough (I believe). Now if this was such a just and right act to do then why does the Obama administration feel that it has to be done in secret where no potential voter would know about it? It appears that it was OK with them but if people really had a true choice in the matter and Obama went to the people to get a feel if this is a good idea or not then why didn't he do that in the beginning? The answer is that he knows that they wouldn't approve so he decide to go around the democratic will of the people (remember that?) and did in such a way that the public can't ever have the opportunity to voice their opinion on those actions. He did it in secret so he wouldn't have to deal with the public's opinion on it which kind of violates the idea that the people of this country decide what is to be done and not the politicians.

It just seems that this particular democratic president thinks it is OK to go around the people and there are quite a lot of people on both sides who don't seem to object to this kind of behavior by any president. Maybe they just think that democracy is just to cumbersome so the president should be allowed to go around it in order to get things done. If that is going to be the attitude of the people in this country then why even bother voting for people anymore in this country?

Democracy is suppose to be cumbersome and difficult to work because the free flowing opinions of the people may not change in a way that some might like. They may never change at all to the point to where those opinions are in the majority but that is just the way it is and to justify the removal of the democratic process because it is to cumbersome just seems like you want to impose your view onto the people. Why even have democracy at all anymore?
