I think of things like how the selfie takers at the capital were rounded up and jailed. How the government can & does spy on Americans. How everything we do is monitored in some form or fashion. How the government is constantly abusing the constitution. These and a few other things means we're definitely not the 1980's USA.

As you sit there on your computer accepting cookies, allowing the ISP you have to track you, etc...

You can opt out of all of this if you like. Just a thought.

The US is not becoming the Soviet Union; such a premise is a ridiculous lie.

The threat is a political system both undemocratic and antimajoritarian, resulting in the tyranny of minority rule.

Its almost as if some posters have a “minimum” threads a day they must come up with; irregardless of how crazy they are.

An overconfident America risks going down same path as the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, warned Russian President Vladimir Putin at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

I'd go on to say we've influenced them as they look at our invasions going back to the late 1950s.
