Pretty much exactly what I'm saying. I congratulate him out of professional courtesy, his people ran a brilliant campaign. I don't particularly like him, but I don't blame him for lying - all politicians do.
You know that Scott Brown isn't exactly what you'd call a Progressive, right? In fact, I've already heard people on this board name him as a Conservative candidate for President in 2012. At least one person on this message board has refered to him as "the Great White Hope"
And if you think "lying is ok as long as you win" is a "progressive" thing, you're more naive than I thought. It's not a partisan thing - its a human thing. Both sides, and all independants do it too.
