Who "protests" in the pitch dark in the middle of the night when there is no one even around but you?! Who are you demonstrating to? The whole idea of a protest is to peacefully present your cause and objection where a large number of people can see and hear the point you are trying to make to bring awareness and sympathy to your cause.
