Clyburn warned early on separating opposition to police brutality and systemic racism (which hopefully 99% of us would not approve of) violence aimed at looting and just plain anarchist leanings. I've never understood democrats inability to realize that the opponents of the republic on the left will take advantage of any overstep of rightwing opponents of the republic, and that just plays into their hands "see we have to beat back the blacks because they are uncivilized....."
Ever since JFK and RFK's assasinations and LBJ's clusterfuck, the dems see unable to Cheer for the force of law to protect due process and equal protection. jmo.
