Tree Huggers of Ohio

As an Ohioian myself I don't claim this man. And although I can't speak for the rest of the state, I'm pretty sure that everybody else here feels exactly the same way too.

Is it prohibited to climb any tree in Ohio or just "sacred ones"?

I don't even understand what's going on. These people are professional what? Climbers, tree trimmers?
If it's a protected tree there needs to be some kind of signage designating it as such.
Bike guy probably was a jerk in how he approached these people.
And also I didn't find this tree in any lists of important trees in Ohio,

Its a nice old tree. Folks should respect that they don't damage it! That said, as to the guy sitting there, why doesn't he just get off his lazy ass then and petition the parks commission to stick a sign there protecting it or something? ITMT, I suggest folks just climb the man!

If that doesn't work, they could always strip him down to his underwear and duct tape him to the tree and leave him there overnight!
