You know the conservative message board meme: "It's ok for Trump to break his tariff on China promise because he's gonna force them to curb North Korea's nuclear ambitions".

That meme just died with Trump himself admitting China isn't afraid of him: Trump: China 'has not worked out' on North Korea

Here is the thing: Trump simply lied to his redneck voters about imposing tariffs on China. He never meant to impose any tariffs. And since message board conservatives believed Trump's promise, they pretended that breaking the promise was worth it.

How about we demand that China raise their minimum wage to $15 instead, along with no child labor, and we'll see how well their factories and retail places do?

Think of the increased quality of life that it will mean for all those poor starving low income workers in China.

Wow! That is a lot of BS for one post. Trump tried leverage. It didn't work. It not like he sent plane loads of cash to NK, like obama to with Iran.

Calm down before you stroke out. Trump has been in office for 6 months. It's not like he failed for eight years, like obama did.
