It is too early to judge what the final analysis will be. These 'political honeymoons' tend to last from two to six weeks. RFK Jr. was big news and gained momentum quickly when he first cast his hat into the ring. And now, other than an occasional 30 second or so on Fox News, nobody ever sees or hears about him.

Nikki Haley was an instant media darling and gained huge momentum that fairly quickly faded. DeSantis probably enjoyed a longer 'honeymoon' period than most but he too quickly sank once it ended.

So we'll see how long the Harris/Walz honeymoon can gain steam here.
