Trump keeps screwing over farmers

Don't you know...............Trump screws everything according to liberals............

Bow to your masters libbies.................China......

Well, the right and left are pushing the US down with their partisan bullshit. China's on the rise.
They have been on the rise for 15 years now...........doing unfair trading..........they are actually down on economic growth now..........just below 7%.......lol

Rig the deck........get away with it.................and screw the world.......

This economic power house is building up militarily with this growth..........

Ah, an American talking about unfair.....

Look, the US went to war in 2003, had an unsuccessful coup in 2002, have sanctions against Venezuela and Iran, and bombed the hell out of Libya all in order to get oil at a price they like, and you're talking about unfair trading.

Come on. The US has been fucking people around for a LONG, LONG TIME.

Let's take Bolivia.

The World Bank, read US government, offered Bolivia loads of money to privatize industries, like the water industry.

Water privatization in Bolivia - Wikipedia

The US govt said "if you want to keep getting World Bank loans, you need to privatize your water industry"

So they did. The leader of Bolivia at the time was Hugo Banzer, former military general, a right winger. The sort of guy who'd take the money and screw his own poor people over.

Aguas del Illimani S.A. was the company that took over La Paz region. Nice Spanish sounding name, but it was actually a part of a French company, Suez S.A.

Another one was controlled by British and American companies.

So, all the profits left the country.

Water prices increased. 25% of La Paz lost water supplies, poverty rose by 2%.

This is an example of the US screwing over other countries. And now the US is complaining others are screwing them over.
I didn't say that we are sweet hearts...........I said that China is abusing the system and screwing everyone.........

Perhaps it's not a problem for you if China screws us.............it is for me.

China is learning from America, perhaps.

The issue here is that the US could go about this whole process intelligently, or it could do the current boasting and acting like an idiot way of doing things.

China's being intelligent about things. Only last week Trump supporters were saying how Trump's policy was working. Why? Because China wanted you to think that.

They took an area of industry, they made "concessions" that would hardly impact the US at all, so it looked like Trump was winning, and all these right wingers were taken in, hook, line and sinker.

Pain on both sides, and who will suffer the most?

Look at it from this point of view. China's growth is about 6.5% or more every quarter. The country is rising, it's getting richer. Within 10 or 20 years it'll be first world, it'll be powerful beyond what the US is.

Brands in China will do very, very well. Trump is going to hurt many US brands, make them less competitive, allow competitors to rise above them and gain more name recognition and the like.

The US is going to suffer more.

China is rising no matter what. China is going to flip from cheap manufacturing to more first world products and services.

The US might just be pushing the process a little sooner. Also forcing Chinese businesses to look elsewhere other than the US which will hurt US exports to other countries as well.

Only leverage China had over us was rare earth minerals and Japan just voided that by discovering huge amount off their coast.

I don't think so. I think it'll just peter out.

China's going to play hard on this. It's going to not want to lose face, which is a very important thing in China. China has been trying to reduce it's economy anyway, it doesn't want boom and bust. So, this war doesn't really harm them that much.

The CCP doesn't have to care about the thoughts of businessmen and women. It has power.

Trump has election time in 2 1/2 years. They can just make Trump look bad, take down the US economy for the next two years, and they've won.

What can the US do? The CCP, Xi Xinping etc will all be there in 5 years time no matter what.

China slaps a charge onto sorghum. Trump's stupid trade war once again hurts US agriculture.

WHY DON'T YOU GET REAL, DAVE (for a change), and tell the full story and shove the vitriol up your ass. No one here buys it.

1). It is only a preliminary ruling pending a probe.
2). Secretary Mnuchin doesn't expect a trade war.
3). Prices of U.S. sorghum fell 13 percent from 2013 to 2017, while shipments increased 14-fold. This is simply a bit of equalization.
4). China also announced plans Tuesday to allow full foreign ownership of automakers in five years finally, ending some restrictions that have helped fuel its trade dispute with Mr. Trump as it promotes electric car development.
5). Beijing is already hampering trade by charging a 25 percent import duty on most cars while the U.S. charges less than 3 percent.

China cranks up heat on U.S. sorghum, eases on autos

Quit your bullshit of trying to make this out as Trump's fault.

Mnuchin said so. Wow I must be wrong because Trump people are always right & they never lie.

Sorghum penalized 170%. But hey car makers are doing good?

Thanks for proving me right: Trump is fucking over farmers.

Repeating the Republican mantra. " We lose a little bit on every sale but make up fort it in volume."

Farmers. Big Ag states like Nebraska, Iowa, Wisconsin, PA, are not as fucking stupid as most Trumpettes. When they start losing their farms, they will know exactly who did it. They will fight in the polls.

What? You have to understand what China is. It's not America. It's not America at the turn of the 20th century.

The CCP has the power. If anyone comes along and tries to have their own power base, they're attacked mercilessly. Take the Fulan Gong. Their members are hunted down. Christians are being targeted right now because the Christian churches in China are trying to gain too much power.

No, unions will not be allowed.

The Chinese are hard workers, they have a completely different mentality to Americans. They work hard, they're like ants or bees. There's a reason why China is so large and it's because they have traditionally stood behind their leaders and done their part.

However, in 1989 the economy was not going well, and we know what happened then. The next economic recession could cause a lot of problems for the CCP.

They're trying to keep the economic growth down to avoid the boom and bust and they have other tricks up their sleeves, like preventing the press causing panic, issuing all manner of bonds and the like. However the debt is growing to proportions that could just make China snap.

you treat them like they are stupid.....many of them know what its like "outside"....when a billion oppressed people "snap"....all hell can break loose...

No, I don't treat them like they are stupid. I treat them like they're not Americans.

You take that as stupid, I don't. I understand that Chinese people have a different mentality. They have more of a sheep mentality. They're less likely to rise up against their oppressors.

This can be seen throughout history. The Mongols turned up and became the new ruling class and the Chinese just sort of accepted it.

Americans have more of a European attitude. Europe has a population about half that of China, and yet has 50 (or 56) countries compared to China's one. Why?

Many know what it's like "outside" and yet they go outside and they have a tendency of avoiding "outside".

I have a Chinese friend who went to study in the UK. In China she was speaking lots of English, in the UK she got with a Chinese guy and hardly ever ventured out into the "outside".

Not everyone it like this, but lots are.

China has an attitude of non-confrontation. You can stand in the subway waiting to get off the train, the doors open and WHAM, they're pushing and shoving to get on, they don't care about you, they just want to get on. They know you're not going to beat them up.
In Japan it's a different mentality. It's one of extreme violence and you had to respect others for fear of that violence. These mentalities are evident in both countries.

People in tourist spots outside of the Far East used to mock the Japanese for turning up and being so polite. Now they get angry at the Chinese. They get in everyone's way, they're impolite, they're selfish.

It's not just me that thinks this, it's the CHINESE GOVERNMENT which has a policy of banning Chinese people who cause a massive scene abroad from going abroad again.

China unveils nine ways its tourists can be banned from travel | Daily Mail Online

"
Chinese tourists have been involved in a number of high-profile incidents relating to bad behaviour both abroad and domestically.

Now the country has released the definitive list of acts that will get you blacklisted and banned from travel as part of the new 'uncivilised behaviour law'."

There will be pain on both sides...............and Concessions until a deal is made.

China is going to flip from cheap manufacturing to more first world products and services.
and when that happens their millions of people in their workforce are going to be asking for more money and benefits....and unions may even show up...

There's a reason why China is so large and it's because they have traditionally stood behind their leaders and done their part.

it isnt the 1980's anymore....those people over there are not as they were then....you are wrong about what they know and think...but then it would help if you knew any Chinese, which i dont think you do....i delivered mail to quite a few young Chinese living here and working for their govt here, they sure as hell did not sound as you are portraying them.....but i guess time will tell....
