Indeed. Illegally Orange lifted a speech from Legally Blonde. Deep huh?
This just gets more and more surreal.
On one hand it's another glimpse into the self-delusional mind that thinks "I can pilfer a script from a really bad movie and no one will notice" -- the same self-delusion that invents "I got more electoral votes than anybody since Reagan" and "thousands of people on rooftops" and "three million illegals voted" as well as negatives "I never went bankrupt"... "I never supported the Iraq war".... "I wasn't mocking a reporter" and somehow think that by uttering the delusion --- it magically becomes a reality. All the imagination of a six year old.
On the other hand to be fair Rump has never had to come up with an inspirational speech for anybody except Numero Uno so this was entirely new territory for him, so being clueless on the topic of Wisdom he needed a model. Would he turn to .... Churchill? Ghandi? Einstein? Some religious text?
Nope, he went for "Legally Blonde". Because work is hard.
Plumbing the depths of intellect right there. Profound, dood.
Ya gotta feel for the graduates in the class having to stifle uproarious laughter.
Cue Rumpologists oozing in to defend plagiarizing a commencement speech from Reese Witherspoon in four... three... two....
