After holding a security clearance myself I can see plenty of holes in this story.
This is obviously a hit piece.
Interim clearances are granted. Mine lasted for six months.
Now, the story you posted claims they failed in some way, for some reason, but neglected to say why. My clearance was flagged for awhile because of an issue that needed to be investigated. Sometimes it's because of money problems. It also could be due to a request from a corrupt Democrat making wild unsubstantiated claims against Ivanka.

Important note: Obama had terrorist ties that would have disqualified him from ever receiving a clearance. Same with Hillary. How did they get their's.

Our FBI has not done the most forthright job.
Or CIA has been caught lieing to and spying on congress.
The NSA has spied on citizens without warrants.
When you look at things like the WMDs that we were assured were in Iraq, the fact that we were completely blindsided by 9/11 or agencies do not really have a stellar reputation.
