President Trump on Thursday instructed top administration officials to explore re-entering the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) — a trade pact he pulled the U.S. out of last year while calling it a “disaster.”

Considering the countries in the TPP revised it to meet what President Trump wanted in it, why wouldn’t he consider it? In fact TPP is dead, it’s now the CPTPP.

The entire point of the TPP was to counter China. Of course China doesn’t agree with it.

This is an interesting development. So far Trump’s Presidency has been about reversing whatever he could that Obama had done, country be damned. Is he now starting to actually think before he acts? I doubt it. Faux will rail against TPP and Trump will defer to them.
