Electoral College Map Projector Flips Third State From Kamala Harris

Published Oct 13, 2024 at 6:04 AM EDT

key swing state has flipped in favor of Donald Trump, according to a new Electoral College map projection. RealClearPolitics' polling tracker shows that Nevada has flipped to Trump, with the former president now 0.2 points ahead of his opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris, in the state, on 48.2 percent to her 48 percent. The tracker previously had Harris leading in the state, which President Joe Biden flipped to blue in 2020, since September 2.

Trump's lead in Nevada means the pollster is now forecasting that the former president will win the election with 302 Electoral College votes to Harris' 236. Nevada has 6 electoral votes. Newsweek has contacted the Trump and Harris campaigns for comment via email.

The shift is driven by a poll conducted by Fabrizio, Lee & Associates/GBAO for The Wall Street Journal between September 28 and October 10, which put Trump 6 points ahead in a head-to-head matchup and 5 points ahead with third-party candidates included. The poll surveyed 600 registered voters and had a margin of error of +/- 4 percentage points.

23 days left. We're very quickly moving to the place where there won't be enough time to shift the momentum

/----/ That explains Tampon Timmy's rant on the EC.

Actually it explains how republicans won the presidency. In the last 8 elections, for president, the republican candidate got the most votes only ONCE.
/—-/ What part of our defense of the EC confuses you the most?

It amazes me how many members here support the tyranny of the majority.

I'm not sayin' that the EC can't be tweaked a bit because "winner takes all" is BS. It allows "city states" to have way too much influence on the outcome within a state.

Actually the EC should be "un-compromised" and have one vote for each representative in congress.

Right now it takes 200,000 people for each of Wyoming's electoral votes.

It takes over 700,000 people for each of California's electoral votes.

That you think it's fair.

In california, for every 760,000 people, they get 1 EC vote.
In wyoming for every 760,000 people they get 3 EC votes.

Wanna explain how that's fair?
/—-/ Sure. The EC protects the rights of the minority. Low population states will be ignored. The popular vote favors large liberal states.

ABC will be doing lots of fake "Kamala has the lead" headlines in hopes of stopping the bleeding.
