Robert Byrd evolved—he changed for the good. He OPENLY apologized for his intolerant past and declared that he had been wrong in his young man's support of the Klan......and Clinton was simply praising in the eulogy the service of the longest serving member of the Senate.

As far as minimum wage, the only reason why the left desires to see it raised is to help those unskilled workers who are unable to get past their high school diploma to learn a trade or college degree. McDonalds was never meant to be a big career move, it's meant as a stepping stone of job experience while you educate yourself towards a high paying career. If THAT many are seriously asking for $15 an hour, than that could only result from an economy that isn't doing as well as the democrats had hoped and the labor force is made up of more PART TIME unskilled jobs than the administration wants to admit. If you truly want to see a better cost of living, then tell Obama to have the treasury stop flooding our economy with more printed currency that only devalues and weakens the dollar.
