ā€˜That looks very safeā€™, says no one, ever. ā€˜This guy must have a death wishā€™, is usually what most think instead when they see photos of a man dangling from the top of sky-high towers.

But Abudi Alsagoff insists he doesnā€™t. The 24-year-old has trained for more than nine years to become a professional parkour athlete and free runner, and has recently moved to the UAE to spread awareness of the gravity-defying fitness fad.

The daredevil from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia ā€“ who now teaches parkour at the Gravity Calisthenics Gym in Al Quoz ā€“ told 7DAYS: ā€œPeople always think itā€™s like you went into an elevator and pressed the button to go to the 100th floor, and then took a photo.
