It wasn't enough that the Turks killed over a million Armenians at the beginning of the 20th century, they apparently have no problems seeing more killed now in the 21st century.

Far from being repentant of the Armenian Genocide, Turkey, under the leadership of Prime Minister Erdogan, is again targeting Armenians; is again causing their death and dislocation.

In the early morning hours of March 21, al-Qaeda linked Islamic jihadis crossed into Syrian territory from the Turkish border andlaunched a jihad on the Christian/Armenian town of Kessab. Among other thing, “Snipers targeted the civilian population and launched mortar attacks on the town and the surrounding villages.” Reportedly eighty people were killed.

It is the Al-Assad ancestral home, it's strange he did not have more Syrian government forces in the area, I hope he sends some troops to the area soon. The rebels are mostly rabid Islamists, and the West has been supporting them, go figure.
