Mr. and Mrs. Cop Hater Extraordinaire must have forgotten Jay Zs roots as a crack dealer and gang member for 13 years. His first 2 encounters with police-
1st one he was caught selling crack...near school property...and was let go with a verbal warning since he had no past arrests!! Wow. Those racist oppressive cops. Could've started Jays young life with a prison term for crack dealing. But no...
2nd time he was driving down I-95 in the pinnacle of his crack dealing days. Had a massive stash of crack rocks hidden in the car and got stopped, as he claims, "for no good reason" (reality: someone snitched on him). The cops didn't have probable cause to search the car...so they didnt. Knowing he was a drug dealer...they called a K9 to do an open air walk around the car (legal). BUT the dog never came....what? It took too long. The law says you can't keep them there for an unreasonable amount of time...so...they didnt. They let him go. He passed the K9 car on his way leaving. Did they do an unlawful search? Nope. Did they hold him past an unreasonable time? Nope. Once again....good law abiding cops spared JayZ.
He even wrote the song "99 problems but a bitch ain't one" and he says he was referring to that female K9 he passed because had the dog arrived sooner....as he says...his life would be drastically different since he probably woulda done decades in prison.
So....Bey and Jay....guess yall should thank those first 2 cops who stopped Jay during his crack dealer days for doing the right thing and being lenient.
