Gunfire leaves 2 wounded at Chuck E Cheese

An argument inside the West Ashley Chuck E Cheese escalated into gunfire Saturday evening, leaving two men wounded amid dozens of parents and children.

The men were shot around 8:15 p.m. and taken to a hospital with injuries that weren't considering life threatening, police spokesman Charles Francis said. Two ambulances with lights and sirens were seen leaving the scene shortly after 8:30 p.m.

Several birthday parties were going on at the time. Tiffany Rivers of Charleston said everyone "just hit the floor" when the gunfire started.

"It was a scary feeling," she said. "I'm just glad the kids are all right."

WTH?

Can't even be safe from the nutters at a Chuck E Cheese children's restaurant.

There are hundreds of videos of black people fighting at chuck E cheese. Its really sad that black culture has taken such a disastrous turn, after all that hard work by so many people in the 60s. Violence is simply a part of every day life in the black community, and there is zero effort to hide that stuff from their children. Youll see mothers getting in fights while they are holding babies. Its such a shame.

Are you serious? Isn't that a childrens pizzeria?

I cannot imagine such a sight! Mothers fighting in front of their own children?! That is horrific!

Sorry to disappoint you Lud, but these weren't nutters, these were bangers.

Really, is there much difference in the results?

Crazy people with guns are crazy people with guns.
Legal gun owners arent the problem though. There are millions of Americans that have guns, but they are responsible enough not to pull them out every time there is an argument. ILLEGAL gun owners are the problem. If you want to find a solution, instead of going after responsible gun owners, we should hand out a minimum of a 10 year sentence for possessing a gun illegally. You watch how fast black culture would change from that. A lot of people would end up in prison in the begining, but the others would start to catch on quick and avoid those guns at all costs.

Right now it seems like its every young mans dream to own a gun in the black community. Even "good kids" like Trayvon Martin are all about getting their hands on guns. Its like a status symbol or something. They are meserized by them, but going to prison for a decade is a great way of motivaing people to act responsibly. Extremely harsh sentences would do wonders for that community.

Yep. Also a major plank of the civil rights movement was to bring prosperity to the African American community and bring them out of poverty, though that never really happened. African Americans may have got the vote, and civil rights on paper, but they didn't get the jobs or the education they were promised.

Maybe they should have declared it a "gun free" zone. That would have stopped it, right?

They got something better, a handout.

It seems like they are not to interested in having the jobs or the education they were promised

Well, think that is the case of a lot of Americans now. It is easier for the government to give handouts than find solutions to joblessness and poverty, something that goes back to the food handouts in the city of ancient Rome. Allowing businesses to grow, or better yet opening up the economy to competition and free enterprise is not on their list of priorities. The government have to serve the interests of monopolists and the state capitalists, which means no jobs or real prosperity - just a lot of promises to keep the serfs running the machines. ;)
