Sorry but you do realize that this is pretty much standard procedure when dealing with nations that do not allow those punishments to be enacted. Your attacking over this seems childish and indicative of Obama haters rather than level headed opposition to Obama. Oddly enough, where you seem to have completely missed the mark, Katz is on the money here:

Where did Papa Doc obama get the idea that the reason Russia won't extradite Snowden is because of threat of torture or execution? Maybe he got it from mexico since that's usually the reason they won't extradite any of the murderers that come here, kill and then run back over the border.

As the problem with Snowden was never the punishment I have no idea why they are releasing this stament. I wonder if they have more info like Snowden’s extradition being already set up and now they are simply manipulating the headlines to make excuses. It is enough to make you think.

Even Snowden's father knows his son should not come back. If Snowden did return, at the very least he would not be able to inform us of obama's criminal activity and millions of Americans want to know the nature and extent of that criminal activity.

What you have to understand is Snowden is WHITE and he is an AMERICAN CITIZEN! Of course they approve of torture and execution.
