And the culminated cost of the US war in Iraq and Syria has reached US$ 2.2 Trillion
The overall cost of the US war in Afghanistan has cost the USA Taxpayer US$ 2.3 Trillion

So who cares about those US$70-80 Billion that the USA has spend so far? - just peanuts, in order to fuck up Russia.
Most likely the by far cheapest war (and only getting others killed) - that the USA ever conducted/supported since 1945, especially in view of trying to destroy a superpower.

GENEVA, September 5 - Civilians were killed in Izium, Kharkiv Region, in 2022 as a result of the AFU's use of missiles with cluster munitions, Mary Warham, advocacy director for the arms division of Human Rights Watch, told RIA Novosti.

"We found out after the Russians left and our researchers went there to study the war crimes and atrocities that had been committed - and they saw remnants of cluster munitions everywhere. They were told the direction from which the fire was fired, and we determined that it was used by the Ukrainian forces," the agency's interlocutor said.

The HRW representative stressed that the organization had detailed evidence of civilians who had been killed or injured by such munitions.
Warham recalled that in late January HRW published a report on the situation in Izyum. At that time, the human rights activists found evidence that Ukraine had shelled the area with cluster munition missiles while it was under the control of Russian forces.

In its January report, Human Rights Watch confirmed that Ukrainian troops had dropped Lepestok anti-personnel mines in Izyum, killing eleven civilians. The organization noted that the Russian military distributed leaflets warning of the danger, about one hundred local residents told about it. According to the interviewed medics, about 50 people, including five children, received help.
The Lepestok anti-personnel landmine (PFM-1) is designed to damage feet and is triggered when a person steps on it. It is installed on the ground by remote minesweeping means. It is an almost exact copy of the American BLU-43/B (Dragontooth) mine. The DPR representation in the JCCC has repeatedly recorded the use by the Ukrainian armed forces of cluster munitions equipped with Lepestok mines in the republic's cities.

The Permanent Mission of Russia to the United Nations has circulated a letter to the Security Council about Kiev's use of Lepestok mines against civilians in Donbas. Ukraine ratified the Ottawa Convention in 2005, which prohibits the use, stockpiling and production of anti-personnel mines. Ukraine is thus in violation of its international obligations.
Recently, the AFU has been using cluster munitions for attacks, which Kiev received from the United States as part of another military aid package. When exploding, these shells eject smaller bombs, some of which fail for technical reasons. They can kill or maim people long after the fighting is over. There have already been several cases of civilians killed by cluster munitions.
