The GoFundMe guy is a huge fake news peddler.I've read many comments where people think the guy who started the GoFunMe for the wall will more than likely steal the money, put it in a Cayman bank and move to a place that won't extradite him. What an ignorant hateful post.those private donations to build a wall will magically find the way to Trump after he leaves office in 2020.

Really now?
Actually, Siete's post is quite logical when you understand how Trump handled his foundation's funds:

Russia figuered out they could make stupid shit Trump drones pay for their social media expenses and started a fund --- Trump promotes the wall, the KGB collects the $$$ - Trump leaves office, they split the change.

Then I just read today where GoFundMe has shut that page down. I haven't been able to verify that.
Man behind border wall GoFundMe ran conspiracy theory sites
Kolfage included a section titled "How do you know this is not a scam?" under which he states that he is a "credible and real person." He asked donors to look up his background and pointed to a verified Facebook page and personal website.
He didn’t mention Right Wing News, whose Facebook page was removed by the platform in October. Facebook scrubbed more than 559 pages due to what it called "coordinated inauthentic behavior" that misled users about their mission and activities.
a fake fund for a fake issue with fake stats ,and fake news?
