Please explain to me why. I know our Dear Leader President wants the USA under the thumb of the UN. But, what has the UN done since its inception to pay for the trillions sunk into it?

The U.S. pays what it is required to pay as a full veto-holding member of the Security Counsel (and as one of the founders of the UN). I find it odd that conservatives whine so much about the poor getting "freebies" but apparently believe that it doesn't apply to them or to this country. We are one of the major players in the UN. That doesn't come cheaply.

For our majority stake, we should get a majority share of benefit.

How about we run the UN like a corporation? 51% of stock equals control.
