Shocking, couldn't guess a lefty would do this. Kind of like how liberals think the USA needs to "fundamentally change". You don't like something if you want it to fundamentally change.

If the American Revolution was a flop then we would still be under British rule and or a monarchy with parliamentary democracy like Canada.

Canada is a federal constitutional monarchy with parliamentary democracy. Canada is an independent nation but is still a Commonwealth country. The Queen of England is still Head of State but has no political powers or control. She is just a figurehead, much like in Great Britain.

America is a Constitutional Republic and yes we won the War and the Queen of England is not our figurehead.
