No matter what way you look at this, the word was said multiple times today in three different instances and has deeply affected us. In light of the murders of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor and the recent and continued collective protests and social awakening across the nation, we cannot let this stand."

As a society Why are we forced to listen and take low iq losers like this seriously?

1. I do not blame those students who lodged that ridiculous complaint against the professor.

2. I blame opportunistic politicians for abetting certain folks into complaining about every little perceived slight.

3. Those students are being disingenuous. They say that the Chinese word sounds so similar to the N-word that they are almost close to a nervous breakdown. C'mon! It is no secret that the N-word is regularly used by many people of their own ethnicity every day.

4. The cowardly university should have told the students to drop the class if they so wished. Instead, it punished the professor who was, after all, teaching communications and wanted them to know about a filler word that the Chinese people use.

5. The saddest thing about this incident and hate crime hoaxes (like that Chicago actor) and all the violence that followed in the wake of those BLM marches is that there is-- IMHO-- less sympathy for certain folks in 2020 than there was in 2019.
