"Bergdahl’s ultimate fate rests in the hands of a military court (unless Obama pardons him) but no verdict can erase the scandalous way this administration conducted the prisoner swap that freed him from the Taliban and its allies. Many lies were told, the law was flouted, a deal of questionable wisdom was struck with his captors, and outraged Americans demanded recognition for the soldiers who died searching for Bergdahl after he abandoned his post."

Bowe Bergdahl was captured by a terrorist group that did not like the Taliban at all, a group that kidnapped and ransomed people for money to pay for other terrorist activities. This group hated the Taliban. They asked for MONEY for Bergdahl's release and the Obama administration PAID THEM.

Obama LIED about the group demanding the release of the Taliban 5, using the Bergdahl kidnapping as an opportunity to release the 5 most famous / dangerous terrorists in GITMO. Barry was trying to empty and close GITMO, but that could never happen as long as the 5 were there.

When the 5 were released they were not released to the group that held Bergdahl FOR Bergdahl. NO, they were released to terrorist-supporting Qatar...which made no sense....unless you realize Obama did that on his own to help get closer to closing Gitmo.

SCANDAL: Iran nuclear deal and ransom payment

The payment of a ransom for US hostages was so wrong Barry tried to hide it. According to Barry (and snowflake supporters) taking millions of dollars in small, un-marked, foreign bills on an unmarked plane in the middle of the night to a location where US hostages are on a plane waiting for verification of payment before being allowed to leave is NOT 'paying a ransom'.

HE KNEW THAT, and yet he still issued his LIE OF THE YEAR: 'If you like your plan you can keep your plan'.
