Last night on ABC--Obama mentioned that Doctors will order unnecessary testing in order to receive more compensation. A resident doctor called in & stated that Doctors do not receive more compensation by ordering additional testing.

He stated that the problem is doctors will order what would be considered as unnecessary testing in order to cover themselves for the next medical mal-practice law suit.

Yet this congress will not do tort reform--to lower insurance costs to doctors--which would also dramatically reduce the amount of unnecessary testing that goes on in this country.

Apparently the Unions are the #1 campaign donor to the DNC & Lawyers are the # 2--hmm.

So, my next question is. Is the government plan going to pay for mal-practice insurance for doctors performing services on the government medical plan?:cuckoo:

Look at it like the Bush adminstration's build up to Iraq----gotta say stuff that people can use for conversations. Doesn't have to actually be true or pertinent.
