I've had good ones and bad ones. The one I had about 15 years ago was really good. And never leaked. It rocked.

My parents had one when I was a kid. I hated it.
IDK how they made me on that thing. Maybe I was couch or kitchen table bred..

Well I was not made on a waterbed but a 1959 Edsel, six pack of Gobel Beer, and poof I was created.

So it might have been better to have been a waterbed baby instead...

Also, I have slept on a couple and never sleep on one when you are dead drunk because you will regret it in the morning!

we have had a water bed for 30 years now lol and grumpy loves it.....i like the waveless...and with a good heater they are not cold at all....
and yes we have replaced the bladder several times....3 cats and a waterbed .....not a good mix...we order the bladder on line...when needed...

I somehow missed that whole deal.

My ex had one (before he was with me) - I think my sister had one too.... I don't like owning anything that requires work - and have decided that if I ever get a place again, I am buying all wicker or bamboo furniture also (nothing heavy) so moves are easier.....
