We can mandate electric cars; Many conservatives already use them and cant see it

I see some MAGAs resisting the inevitable change to green energy such as electric cars. What they don’t realize is this: take a look at their wealthy suburbs and country clubs. They drive their golf carts to dinner, I even see the Trump flags flying on some. They drive the electric golf carts all over town. They choose this while also owning an $80,000 pickup truck in the driveway.

So…the next step is, mandate all travel within 15 miles of home be in an electric car. A golf cart style vehicle for example. Extremely efficient and green.

Further than 15 miles? I advocate mass transit, like Europe. More trains. Yes this takes infrastructure, so a couple decades of work which is fine. We cant mandate golf cart travel & ban other gas cars overnight I realize that.

But what if by, say, 2050 or 2060 we have a society where 100% of personal travel is done by bike, golf cart or mass transit train? And save fossil fuel travel ONLY for 18 wheelers (necessary for now), planes and ships (which also can be green eventually)??

Our interstates can be retrofitted to only have mass transit train rails and lanes for 18 wheelers.
Take your mandates, wrap them in barbed wire, and shove them up your ass.

No such thing as green energy.

The picture on the bottom is the used up blades on the green windmills that cannot be recycled. Just think about all the toxic batteries that have to be deposed of from green energy cars.

They are of pure dictatorship. Do what they want and remove anyone in the way. I am sure Martha's Vineyard will become totally socialistic as they will never do that.

There is no call for a high speed rail in Martha's Vineyard but you still felt this need to go there. That's why we can't get anything done.

Again, Fock China where most of this Bullshit Green Energy Push is coming from because that is where most of the solar panels are made, and cobalt and lithium come from.

Fock The Green Energy Climate Change Scam.

We can't get anything done because we don't hang politicians that engage in scams like Operation Russian Collusion Crossfire Hurricane.

Try running a scam like that in China against Xi. Everyone and their families would be dead once it was found out that was a lie and you wasted The State's money on a witch hunt. Then they'd go after your families and all your assets would be forfeited. Anyone in the media who knowingly helped push the lie would lose their jobs and be put on trial as co-conspirators.

Try bilking the state for Billions of Dollars like they have done in California over their Scam High Speed Rail. Newsome, Pelosi, Waters and all of these corrupt politicians would be hung in China for what they do every day in California.

I don't see people driving Golf Carts to work or on family trips. I don't see how electric cars are better for the environment when mining for lithium erodes and destroys it. Speaking of lithium batteries notice how fast the battery in your cell phone goes bad? Think that won't happen in your electric car? Wanna know how much it costs to replace that battery in said electric car? 20k. Not to mention if everyone plugs in their car to charge at night it will overload the electrical grid, something California recently found out.

So once again you shitlibs deal in fairy dust and fantasy NOT reality

Not me, I will never give up my diesel golf cart!

It took decades and hundreds of millions to develop the system we have now.

Expecting the switch to green tech to be easy and cheap is just stupid or dishonest
Ok. Go ahead and run on that. Tell the Middle Class that in the face of rising car payments, they must switch to something even more expensive and be susceptible to an additional $25k-$30k battery replacement when only five years ago, that was the price of a brand new car.

Find out how smart and savvy that is. I’m sure you will have really schooled me.

Mass transit?

In the last town I lived in, it was 7 miles to any of the three small cities and towns. Are you proposing we build a light rail system to my neighborhood to all of those areas? What would be the power source? How many millions would that cost and how much more pollution would be created?

You really have no clue as to what you are talking about do you?

How are you going to enforce your mandate?

How are you going to know if I don't comply?

Are you gonna send me a fine if I do not comply?

What if I tell you to take your fine and stick it? Then what?

Are you gonna send men with guns from the government to put me in a cage? If not, then what?

I've always wondered why libs are so infatuated with trains and railcars. They're very popular in socialist europe and every other cesspit of an authoritarian state.
I have spent a great deal of time in Europe. I took the train twice, and both involved riding in ICE taxis to the train stations. At my destinations, I had to walk everywhere.

I am often reminded of the movie, "The Quiet Man" set in Ireland in the 1920s. Sean Thornton returns to his birth home, first by taking a train, riding in a horse-draw cart, and then walking. Automobiles were almost non-existent. Is that what we are looking forward to, again?

Walking is good exercise.

Even in large cities sometimes driving 6-7 miles makes more sense than taking mass transit.

In NYC I have a 20-30 minute drive commute that would take 1.5 hours to do by mass transit.
