We Have Failed As A Society

$10 for Chex Mix? For that price, they better include a blowjob, or I'm not buying it.

I don't doubt that.

Which leftist policies?
Mostly the ones which cause higher wages. Airports and airlines are highly regulated, which means airport rents are very high, which means businesses who rent space in airports have to have higher prices. It's not because businesses in airports are gouging people like some leftist idiots on here claim.

This is not inflation it is gouging of the consumer.

President Jimmy Carter signed the bill deregulating airlines in 1978, phasing out the Civil Aeronautics Board and allowing airlines to decide where to fly and what to charge. Around the same time, the government also deregulated the trucking industry, intercity buses, and the railroad industry.Jan 17, 2023

Blame the Airlines for American Inequality - Time

Or, more precisely, Biden and the left have failed society. The lefties keep on telling us that everything is going great and that inflation is in the rear view mirror. But Biden's America is now charging $10 for a bag of Chex Mix.

“We have failed as a society” one person wrote in response to the $10 Chex Mix.

Mayorkas kept saying there was not border crisis for 3 years.

What changed? Why does the Left now admit to a border crisis that they blame Trump for?

So why start thread after thread about inflation when you can add to your original one.

BTW a fucking airport snack $10? Must not have flown in the past 20 years, you pay an arm and leg for anything you purchase in an airport and that's been like forever.

You sit in your own misery 24 hours a day.
LOL. So, you're trying to say that we shouldn't be spamming the forum with hundreds of anti-Trump threads because one anti-Trump thread will do?

What does a large drink go for nowadays at a movie theatre? Been a # of years since I've been, but as we all know, food and drink prices at theatres have always been over the top.

Chex Mix at some airport is NOT REPRESENTATIVE of general national price infaltion.

Thats why you using it to make such broad arguments about the state of our economy and society is straight stupid.

Stop being stupid and use national statistics instead of one insignificant cherrypicked price at a monopolized location.
You dumb ass shit, overall inflation is 20% higher than when Biden took office!

This is what serious argument on affordability changes in America looks like:

Wage growth outpaced inflation in 2023.

How are those leftist policies? It was the Republicans who created the Department of Homeland Security after 9-11 from which all of these regulations came into being. Furthermore, the fact that many items can't be brought through Security plays a role in pricing since you have no choice but to purchase them there if you want them, like the bottled water. Your article even says that. Again, these are policies that were put in place during the Bush Administration.

So, there are no regulations at airports?

Good example. The workers selling you popcorn and sodas at the movies are making a lot of money, which translates into a lot higher prices. They are not earning $7.25 per hour.
