that only works when the differences are on small insignificant items. our differences today are huge and major. the dems want european socialism and the GOP wants us to follow the vision of the founders. I don't know how those two ideas ever reach compromise.

So tell me, how does stripping away freedoms, butting in on people's personal lives, helping to bankrupt the country, nation building, and giving weapons to people that hate us fit in with the founders vision?
