When will average joe republicans realize just how horrible their party is?

Ah yes, the irony....

GOP..."The ACA will result in people losing policies they like"

Obama....."if you like your policy, you can keep your policy, period."

GOP......"The ACA will result in many people losing their doctors"

Obama...."if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor, period"

GOP....."policy premiums will go up for many of those that do not get subsidies"

Obama...."the average premium will decrease by $2500"

GOP...."the younger invincibles will not sign up at the rate the POTUS claims and thus there is no way the ACA will be deficit neutral"

Obama...."the invincibles will sign up at a rate of 40% making the ACA deficit neutral.

People lose their policies and doctors. Premiums go up. Invincibles are signing up at a much lower rate...

And what do we hear?

"Why hasn't the GOP offered ideas to fix the ACA"

True, but its not so much a fix. Frankly, Obamacare may be unfixable. The problem now is we have a bunch of states that expanded Medicaid, others that didn't ... and don't see how they longterm can afford to .... and a bunch of folks getting tax credits that are partially paid for by raising other workers premiums on the insurance they already had.

The gop consciously chose to not address the issue. They did try to work with Clinton early on. And there were compromised up until 2000. But W took a pass. Still, the dems made this mess all by themselves.

Can any if you explain why this is the dems fault? No. None of you can. None of you can give any support to this claim. Also, why was the economy good under Clinton?

I can, not that an idiot lefty like you will listen though.

After the Dems took control in 2006, Bush asked them 5 times (FIVE!), to do something about Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac and the housing situation, and they, led by Barney Frank (who was in charge of thise things)refused claiming that Bush only wanted to stop minorities from becoming homeowners.

Democrats fault, not Bush's.

Prove these claims. Fox News doesn't count. While you're at it, prove the democrats even had the significant power to do something Freddy Mac. Even so, it's moronic to say Freddie Mac was the only reason for the downturn. It is one of many.

Fuck off moron, it isn't my job to make you smart. I'm not the jackass whisperer.

"Fox News doesnt count'

cried the left-wing idiot who gets his talkingpoints spoon-fed anally to him by George Soros

It was common knowledge reported by everyone. I'm too lazy to waste my time trying to educate the terminally stupid. Like I said, lefty morons like him won't listen anyway.

well i guess right after you get around to admitting EVERYTHING WAS BETTER WHEN REPUBLICANS RAN THINGS

everything

Oh so it was better when the economy went to shit in Bush's final months? We lost 2.3 million private jobs in his final months and 3 million more until the stimulus was passed.

Yeah. We noticed. It started going to shit as soon as there was a democrat majority in both the senate and congress.

As a business owner, I held true to the premise of "one step at a time". It worked for me. Sure, I could have gone all out but my chances for failure would increase.

Yes, President Bush did not address healthcare....but lets be real...his tenure started with an attack on our homeland; continued with the dismantling of the Taliban; then, of course, the Iraq debate and war; and healthcare was not a priority to him. Not that I agree with it, but it was just not a priority.

President Obama, rightfully so, made healthcare a priority. But as opposed to considering ALL ideas; one step at a time to see what works....he opted to go for the whole ball of wax.

And as with business.....you try to much too soon, your chance of failure increases.

If he had any business sense whatsoever, he would have considered some of those baby steps....especially when it is something that affects every single American Citizen directly.

Billy is rdean the second

Republicans blah blah blah and he has all the talking points down pat he got off some left wing site on the Internet probably

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

what a sheep

As long as they stop being Democrat lite, never.

You see, people are smart enough to know your propaganda is bs.

I love how Nixonian King Barack is.

Nixon blamed all his troubles on one newspaper. The Washington Post.

King Barack blames all his troubles on one cable news outlet. FOX News.

FOX has maybe 5 million viewers. I would love to know how such a comparatively small demographic can turn the minds of the American people when The King has PBS, NPR, CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, his LAPDOGS AT MSNBC, The Noo Yawk Times group and 80% of all newspapers in addition to TIME, NEWSWEEK, and US NEWS & WORLD REPORT in his pocket.

ANd most of the are liberals who claim to hate FOX...

and yet in obama's 6th year there are STILL about 1 MILLION FEWER Americans working than at ANY point in the Bush years; even the period you're mentioning

you're an idiot lying to himself

You are such an idiot. What the fuck do you think happens when the economy loses 5 million jobs? Despite this, we have had private sector job growth since the stimulus was passed. Obama is not to blame.
its Obamas second term, when is a good time to start?....i see lots of Lefties here giving Obama credit for the good things but anytime someone brings up a negative....its blamed on something else....every President has to start taking blame at some point for the negative things that happen during his term, just like the positive things......not everything Obama has done has been "wonderful",he is not without flaws.....
obama - IN CHARGE OF EVERYTHING... RESPONSIBLE FOR NOTHING.

Your kidding right? The republicans don't have a majority now and liberals blame them now for the bad economy. When the economy went bad democrats controlled both houses. Republicans controlled both houses for a while under clinton, good economy and a balanced budget.

No. He is not kidding. He is just poorly informed.

Why can't any of you explain how the downturn was caused by dems?

Sorry... pretending it hasn't been done isn't working.

The misguided perception average joe republicans have about the GOP is laughable. How do they not see the evidence?

1) Republicans are always preaching small government yet they are always proposing legislation that intrudes on peoples' private lives (anti gay laws, forced medical procedures for women, drug testing of welfare recipients).

2) Regulations protect consumers and, in reality, do not significantly impede economic growth. (See the BLS statistics for proof)

3) Tax cuts for the wealthy only help the wealthy. Why? Because stimulating supply side means dick if you don't stimulate demand. The Bush tax cuts in total only created 4.6 jobs per million dollar cut.

4) Tax cuts do not pay for themselves. Every dollar lost in revenue is one more dollar the gov needs to borrow to pay the bills. Bush's tax cuts have greatly contributed to our national debt.

5) Congressional republicans constantly push legislation that goes against popular opinion (gay rights, raising the minimum wage, extending unemployment insurance, background checks for gun ownership).

6) They whine and complain about ObamaCare yet offer no alternative to fix our broken health care system. Instead they claim we have "the best in the world". (WHO ranks the US's health system just above Slovenia). Being technologically superior means dick if people can't afford decent care.
This is similar to a thread I started a while back called, "Why are republicans so fucked?"

I think I liked my thread title more, but you definite beat me on the OP!

That's hitting the nail on the head.

1. what is wrong with asking a young woman to see the life she is about to destroy before dhe kills it?
2. what in the phuk is wrong with drug testing welfare recipients? they are getting paid by the government to raise their children; things others do for free. do we not have an interest in them being drug-free while raising their kids on the taxpayer dime?

libs are morons
I have no interest in paying GE's taxes for them, but I don't see you bitching about corporate welfare?

When are Democrats going to finally understand their socialist light form of government does not work? Obama has proven that over the last five plus years and Europe had many fine examples of this before Obama took us down this road.
The only thing close to socialism in this country are SS and Medicare, both very popular programs.

.

I wonder when the average partisan ideologue will realize that they're voluntarily existing in an intellectual vacuum and that their constant spin, denial, hyperbole, straw man arguments, distortion, diversion, deflection and outright lies are destructive to both political discourse and the country.

Probably not very soon, I'd guess.

.
There's nothing average about republican partisan ideology.
