I once had a job that made no sense. I worked at a travel agent as a “Settlement Representative”. Supposedly when the travel agents booked flights that data would get transferred into the accounting program. In the process some of it was coded incorrectly and we had to put everything in the right format so that it could “settle”. It wasn’t something to brag about and it certain you didn’t translate to any marketable skill. What I just described may not be exactly what was happening. It made no damn sense.
