Most likely in Jarrett's honor. Hey, isn't Mao's birthday right around the corner?

The White House this week celebrated Nowruz, the Persian New Year most often observed by Iranians.

The festivities come amid tense negotiations between the White House and Tehran. President Obama hopes Iran will slow or stop its nuclear weapons program in exchange for removing economic sanctions.

First Lady Michelle Obama praised the holiday in remarks at the executive mansion Wednesday. The event featured a Persian dinner and a dance troop’s performance.

“I think it’s so fitting we’re holding this celebration here today,” Michelle Obama said. “One of the things I love about the White House is how it truly is the people’s house. It is a house that reflects the diversity of culture and traditions that make us who we are as a country. Nowruz is one of those traditions.”

To show true appreciation for Iranian culture, a painting of Ayatollah Khomeini might be hung in the Oval Office. (There must already be one in Jarrett's office.

November 4th would be a good day for the event.

Our beloved Pres. Obama is truly a unique person.

He is much too smart and noble of a human being to only be the leader of the United States.

Obama should be chosen by the UN to be the ruler of the entire planet earth. ......

The Administration has also made some upgrades to their parking garage, and, actually i hear they have purchased extras, so they will be applying these signs in apropriate places throughout the Whitehouse.

Iran has been at war with the U.S. since 1979. Their funding of terrorists have directly killed Americans. They vow to destroy us and call us the Great Satan. They are actively seeking the bomb to achieve their goals. Yet they are celebrated by the White House in what Moochelle Antoinette Obama calls "the people's house".

Can you imagine FDR holding a German themed celebration in the White House in 1942 or Truman holding a Japanese cultural celebration instead of dropping the bomb?

Had they tried, they'd have been put in straight jackets and set to the padded walls of a Looney Bin.

But not in the Obamanation of today. We are definitely through the looking glass.

Obama's gonna change it. Yes we can.

How many cults of personality have turned out well?
