Who And Cdc Are Getting Their Feet Held To The Fire

its not airborne unless you are a pig or chimp...I guess allie you should be worried then

A chimp is a primate, very similar to us. Which is why they use a chimp to test. Of course we are not pigs, and maybe their snorting emits more into the air............

Either way, I posted the report and it showed it happened. Chimps are similar, and anyone with common sense would know that.
the virus had to mutate in order to do so. there is nothing to worry about

No it didn't, you fucking idiot.

Meanwhile, I think you should go volunteer to clean the apartment of the ebola family. chop, chop.
what?i didnt what? stop lying you freak of life.

Don't do drugs.

I said it didn't mutate, moron. And it didn't. The strain that jumped species between pig/chimp without physical contact is the same one that's jumping between people now in Sierre Leone..and now Spain and the US too.

Congrats, you remain a dangerous idiot.

Tell that to the nurse who only treated the patient twice in full suits with tape as recommended by the WHO.
again not airborne since she was touching

No kidding. She was wearing a respirator. She wore the suit by the guidelines. That's what they are bitching about.

No respirator. They maintain one isn't necessary.

As it turns out, nobody REALLY knows if ebola is air borne or not.

Go figure.

"Hospital officials denied that World Health Organization recommendations were not followed in the treatment of both Garcia Viejo and another Spanish priest, 75-year-old Miguel Pajares, who died of Ebola after being flown from West Africa to Spain, where he received the experimental drug ZMapp."

"According to the Spanish newspaper El Pais, hospital staff provided photos of protective suits that use latex gloves attached using tape. Hospital staff members told the paper that the protective equipment should have been completely impermeable, but that it was not. The workers also said that the suits did not allow for autonomous breathing."

"“The suits used perfectly meet protocol, as well as the mandatory protection requirements for this disease," said Yolanda Fuentes, the deputy director of Carlos III hospital.."

"The incident has raised fresh concerns that, despite assurances from global public health officials that Ebola cases can be safely managed in developed countries, sufficient precautions have not been taken."

The protocol isn't sufficient, and WHO and the CDC have been lying and softsoaping this all along.

As they have been with the entovirus that is killing kids now.

A vexing mystery in Spain How did a nurse contract Ebola - The Washington Post
Something I have read little about the spread of Ebola......it is also spread through sweat.

"Madrid's regional government even got a court order to euthanize and incinerate their pet, "Excalibur," against the couple's objections. The government said available scientific knowledge suggests a risk that the mixed-breed dog could transmit the virus to humans, and promised to use "biosecurity" measures to prevent any such transmission."

Pballs always has been, and remains, a complete amoeba.

We are all subject to what is published in the media, regardless of which agency or bureau reports. I would venture our understanding of this disease would be much different if we were encased in plastic and case-working in Liberia as opposed to thrashing it out here.

I don't trust the media. Having lived in 5 different countries I can attest to the fact that what we heard in the U.S. never matched up to the reality of what was happening there.

Trust your own instincts on this one. I am supposed to go to Shenzhen, China in November. I am seriously worried about being on airplanes. Call me crazy but I just don't trust the media or what governments are saying about this.

Read what the men and women who have studied ebola say.

Start with Hot Zone. They were freaking out about ebola decades ago.

Again, no, she wasn't. She was wearing the recommended suit that was supposed to allow her to touch the patient. There is no indication there was any breech in protocol, or the effacy of the suit.

The suit didn't have an air containment system.

The WHO and the CDC and Pballs are lying to you folks. You want to catch ebola, follow their directives, lol.
lol its a conspiracy!

Spanish nurse Ebola infection blamed on substandard gear and protocol lapse World news The Guardian

Staff at the hospital where she worked told El País that the protective suits they were given did not meet World Health Organisation (WHO) standards, which specify that suits must be impermeable and include breathing apparatus. Staff also pointed to latex gloves secured with adhesive tape as an example of how the suits were not impermeable and noted that they did not have their own breathing equipment.

The nurse was part of a team attending to missionary Manuel García Viejo, 69, who died four days after being brought to Carlos III hospital on 20 September. The same team, including the nurse, also treated missionary Miguel Pajares, 75, who was repatriated from Liberia in August and died five days later.

Staff at the hospital said waste from the rooms of both patients was carried out in the same elevator used by all personnel and, in the case of the second patient, the hospital was not evacuated.

Then why were the nurses protesting the situation outside the hospital. They are saying differently.

The WHO were where..........The CDC sent a team to Dallas. Why didn't the WHO send a team to Spain under the circumstances and VERIFY the suits being worn were proper?

Sorry, I'm not apt to believe that the instructions were clear to the hospitals.........Because the lady only went in their twice according to reports...........

And if this is a mistake by the hospital then shouldn't the guidelines be CLARIFIED so it doesn't happen again. This isn't a game, and the nurse was doing what she thought was the correct method of entering the room for treatments.

Someone, either WHO or the hospitals need to get their heads out of their asses.

Or why didn't the disease control specialist go there, knowing an ebola patient coming there. In Texas the CDC sent a team there immediately. So either the WHO, or Spain's version of the CDC should have been there to make sure it was done right. Either way, she got fluids on her.......and it's not supposed to spread unless there is a break or cut in the skin according to their sites.......Then they turn around and say it can be spread by sweat....

Again. They need to get their shit together over there.

TSRI Panel Shares Critical Ebola Work with the Public
And the disease itself might be mutating to become less lethal but more contagious, increasing the risk of it spreading elsewhere.
........
In Erica Ollmann Saphire’s field, it’s humans versus viruses—and the viruses have a head start.

“These clever little beasts evolve much, much faster than we do,” said Saphire, a professor at The Scripps Research Institute (TSRI) and alumna of the institute’s graduate program. “They are constantly mutating.”

Viruses may be clever, but Saphire is committed to defeating the worst of them, especially hemorrhagic fever viruses.

Hemorrhagic fever viruses include Ebola virus, Lassa virus and Marburg virus—three infamous pathogens known for spreading quickly and killing up to 90 percent of people infected....

I don't remember that in the report. You'd have to point that out line and verse to the test from Canada.
Ebola answering the 10 basic questions you were afraid to ask World news theguardian.com
Can it mutate to become airborne?

While mutations do occur, experts say it is very unlikely that the virus would mutate to become an airborne disease.

The Ebola virus has not previously mutated in this manner, and experts say there is no other virus that has transformed from non-airborne to airborne in human beings.

Testifying before Congress in September, Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said this is not something the American people should “lose sleep over”.

it would need to mutate in order for humans to get it airborne

That's rather the point.

until you read it didnt meet their standards....But hey why let facts get in the way of your trolling,

No, it did meet their standards. The feds (the CDC) and WHO have been lying all along about how infectious it is. They are telling people who are reporting that they think they have ebola to go home, that they couldn't possibly be infected.

This is the truth:

"“We were told by federal officials, county officials that you would have to come in direct contact with Duncan or direct contact with bodily fluids, and he did not,” said Monnig’s son, Logan, about the possibility of his dad contracting Ebola. "

This guy was in contact with an ebola victim, and they weren't even monitoring him.

"“He was in the apartment for 30 minutes, which we were told is no chance to contact the virus,” said Logan."

That's funny, because ebola can live on dry surfaces for 3 days.

Ebola Scare Sends Dallas County Sheriff 8217 s Deputy To Hospital CBS Dallas Fort Worth

Here's what the CDC said in September:

"When an infection does occur in humans, the virus can be spread in several ways to others. The virus is spread through direct contact (through broken skin or mucous membranes) with

  • a sick person’s blood or body fluids (urine, saliva, feces, vomit, and semen)
  • objects (such as needles) that have been contaminated with infected body fluids
  • infected animals
....

"Unlike respiratory illnesses like measles or chickenpox, which can be transmitted by virus particles that remain suspended in the air after an infected person coughs or sneezes, Ebola is transmitted by direct contact with body fluids of a person who has symptoms of Ebola disease."

But this is what they're saying now:

"If a symptomatic patient with Ebola coughs or sneezes on someone, and saliva or mucus come into contact with that person’s eyes, nose or mouth, these fluids may transmit the disease.

"Ebola on dried on surfaces such as doorknobs and countertops can survive for several hours; however, virus in body fluids (such as blood) can survive up to several days at room temperature."
