Have a care about private schools. The people who teach at private schools have been educated and influenced by the University system, which gives our public teachers the critical caveat that many private schools are less transparent than public ones.

But it still gives parents a choice. Also, competition would force schools to strive for excellence and to offer a higher quality product than their competitors.
