After Jesus' resurrection, he appeared to his followers. Ever wonder why he didn't also appear to Pontius Pilate, Annas and Caiaphas the High Priests, or King Herod? Would it made a difference if he had, and what do you imagine that difference might have been? But mostly, why do you think Jesus chose not to appear to them?

He has already died on the cross and accomplished his mission.

They would have just sought to do the same again.

I can just hear the reasoning,, "He was not really dead, we should have killed him better".

Because it didnt actually happen.
Sometimes the easiest answer is the right answer ;)

Jesus raised the dead while he walked the earth but people still refused to believe.

The same would happen today.

Magic is hard to believe in.
Magic is why we are even here.

There is no question that miracles have already taken place, such as life coming from nonlife, the only -question is, how?

You are, therefore, forced to believe in something

If you say so.

The sooner the Essene Monk disappears for his wounds to heal , the better .
He thought .

And that is doubtless what happened .
Probably with Joseph of Arimathea providing strong arm protection .

No time for those that tried to eliminate him as his and Peter's bravery alone could not grapple with too many at one time .

So he certainly took at least a three day rest and
if anybody was smart enough to say he had flown away like a bird , well done them .

Aliens
Life on asteroids
A supreme being
Aliens? Why do you discount the notion of God being an alien? Also, if aliens did put us here, then who gave them life?

Naturally, the only solution is a God that created time itself.

Life on an asteroid?

I don't see to many of those.

in our current lifetime, we have alot of evidence of revisionist history, aka rewriting history.

Who is to say that Roman leadership didnt do the same, removing all recorded references to Jesus and anyone who heard anything from him after resurrection.

Would it made a difference if he had ....

why demonstrate after their death what they could have done before they killed him.

only a very few would have been worthy were they to return that may have been all there was to it - not just the crucifiers, jesus was betrayed by most everyone else who let happen, happen. just as today.

they gave it the best they had - they did not return.

The problem with calling God an alien is, if we are his children he is not alien to us.
Im just saying if we have a supreme being, he could be an alien. Or something else. Something we couldnt even dream of.
Doesnt mean he made us from him. He could have created us in a lab or something.

Anything you create is a reflection of yourself.

It tells us what you value, your intellect, your needs, etc.

How can your creation be alien to you?

All good points. Still, I can't help but wonder what difference it might have made to their personal lives if they saw and believed. Perhaps, Pontius Pilate especially, as he washed his hands.
