Why can't republicans just admit they are seriously losing the ideological edge in this country

The mainstream GOP is doing much better since kicking the TP in the ass during the primaries.

We have seen the stupidity on EO and social concerns, including vaccinations, kicked in the ass by the leadership, for instance.
You don't want the TPs votes?
If we outreach correctly, we will pull more from the Millennials then we will get from you. And we will get many of your votes anyway.
We?...Um YOU are excluded. You are NOT conservative. You side with the libs. You post lib....That makes you a lib...

You speak with no authority, spoon, as to is GOP. You are a false conservative, but not is not my concern at all. My concern is that the GOP reach out to the millennials and centrists to make sure we have the House, the Senate, and the Presidency with out being loaded down with TP shitbirds.

Why can't the left figure it out that most Americans:

Are fed up with so many idle people on welfare.

Want our borders secure and jobs to go to Americans, not illegal aliens.

Want the Keystone pipeline and for the new jobs to go to American citizens.

Know that there is such a thing as Islamic terrorists and consider it a problem.

Dislike Obamacare and want it repealed.
Um since when do most Americans want it appealed? Most want changes to it, not repeal the entire thing.

You people don't even know the facts on welfare. Hell many people on Medicare bitch about welfare.

The keystone will create very little permanent jobs.

You don't know the difference between real entitlements that people earned and so-called entitlements that people get for nothing. People worked and paid plenty into Medicare and Social Security with the promise that it would be there for them when they retire.

Republicans just won the biggest landslide in modern history. Why can't liberals understand that they lost the "ideological edge"? Is Michael Savage right when he said that liberalism is a mental illness?

You still think that little midterm election had some huge meaning. That's cute.

Polls show most Americans side with democratic issues despite voting republican.

Most Americans...

1) Favor raising the minimum wage
2) Favor gay marriage
3) Favor Background checks on gun ownership
4) Want the government to manage the effects of climate change
5) Favor raising taxes on the wealthy

Beyond polls, it has been proven over and over supply side economics do not work. Climate change has a wide global scientific consensus as being man made. The vast majority of peer-reviewed studies from around the world support the claim.

Regulations do very little to hinder job growth. The BLS statistics prove that. Why do they seek deregulation?

People may "favor" those things, but they evidently don't feel so strong about them that they will vote down the Progressive party line.

The truth is most Americans oppose the progressive Agenda much more so than they "favor" feel good blanket statements put in stupid polls.

"Why can't republicans just admit they are seriously losing the ideological edge in this country"

It's the consequence of denial common to most republicans who adhere blindly to failed conservative dogma.

Indeed, many on the right revel in their minority status – they perceive theirs as an heroic battle in defense of an idealized American past that never actually existed to begin with, when in fact they're nothing more than pathetic reactionaries engaged in a pointless, futile struggle against change, diversity, and expressions of individual liberty.

Because the Republican voting force hates politics. They just know Abortion is bad, and I agree with them. But they have no reason to look beyond this single topic. (Notating abortion can be obsolete if Republicans stop controlling anti-Preggo pills)

Probably because they just kicked the Dems out of power. Seems the Dems are the ones on the idealogical wrong side right at this moment. At least that's what the VOTING public believes. Who gives a crap what the polls say, they're not reality.

Is that how the GOP won the last two Presidential elections by kicking the TP in the ass and appealing to millennials?

Oh wait,,,

I don't know why Jake cares-whether the Republicans won any election.

They're losing because the majority of this country HATES CUT, Slash and Burn!
The majority loves infrastructure, loves science and loves a leader that has vision.

Killing our science programs or promising to cut something is a loser.

The American people don't want cut, slash and burn. They want accountability and yes, they favor some of what billy listed.

There has been no cut slash or burn. The feds are spending more money than ever. Americans dont want to see another $8T of debt added.

Yeah it means that Democrats arent in charge of the Congress anymore. The people reject your policies. That is obvious.

The real question is why you seem to think that your premise is even remotely correct when the democrats did so poorly this last election cycle.

Where is the 'facts' that support your asinine assertions. You should also be aware that what you listed does not account for even a small percentage of what the parties claim to stand for - they are bullet points that are ill suited for anything other than partisans.

Obama is no Leader. He's a pathetic excuse for a president and the last person we need in office. 2017 can't come soon enough!

. . . because you are a concrete learner, AvgGuy. The TP was not around in 2008, but it was in 2012 and lost the election for the GOP to Obama of all people as the far right reactionaries did 2008 with their craziness.

The GOP will continue to excise the cancer of the far right right while reaching out with tender care for the Millennials and the centrists who will elect the President in 2016.

Let's keep in mind that some ignorant, or uneducated, or malignant citizens believe those who purchase our representatives for a cool billion is free speech, but a poor person on food stamps to buy a Snicker's bar is destroying the country.

The only thing that has been cut and slashed is the DoD budget. Welfare is at an all-time high. Most people probably favor cutting that.

No, it means that the teabaggers were able to get a few more of their numbers out in an extremely low turnout election. It also means the right will now have to do more than make stupid statements and say no. I don't think they are up to the challenge.
