Zone1 Why Do Bad Things Happen?

The faithful have a similar response

Whenever something good happens, God gets all the credit
When something bad happens, God had nothing to do with it
Fake Christians have that response sir, not mature ones.

I can't tell if the OP was being serious or not, so I'll decline to answer that question at this time.

God could not create us to be perfect because God could not create our intelligence. Our intelligence is self-existing and was not created or made and neither indeed can be.

Doctrine and Covenants 93:29
29 Man was also in the beginning with God. Intelligence, or the light of truth, was not created or made, neither indeed can be.

Because of this our intelligence exists in whatever state it currently exists in from all eternity. If we are not perfect, then we are not perfect and in order for us to increase in intelligence we need to learn to more perfect. Thus God places us on this earth to experience good and evil that we might come to know the difference between good and evil and hopefully choose the good over the evil.

God also realizes that in order us to become good beings in and of ourselves, we need to choose good of our own free will and choice to truly be good beings. Being forced to be good does not make us become good beings. We need to learn to choose good over evil of our own free will and choice. Only in this way do we truly become good beings in and of ourselves.

Because of our free will and our imperfection, we make bad choices at time and this why some bad things happen. The other reason is to simply give us experience as to what good and bad are. This mortal life is temporary and eventually we all will resurrect and live forever in bodies of flesh and bones which are immortal and not subject to death.

Another moron who equates a wheat plant with a sentient being who feels EVERY emotion you feel. You are right in line with Hitler's contempt for those subhuman Jews. Congratulations

Sorry for the whoooooosh ... "Where was God when the combines were rolling?" ... too cold in Michigan for satire? ...

when they crucified jesus the reversal of the heavenly intervention at the time of noah occurred giving the crucifiers, desert dwellers the upper hand ... the heavens will never abide planet earth again till the criminals are brought to justice and their phony bibles brought to lite.

One of the most facile "arguments" that atheists often fall back on is the banal "If God loves us, why does he let bad things happen?"
The reality of this physical world is that bad things happen. Perhaps the better reflection is what good ultimately came out of the bad or evil? To bring the best out of our muscles and brain, we have to put in the work, go through the struggles. Could it be for us to bring out the best in ourselves and in this world, we have to put in the work to bring good out of evil? Our second "Perhaps" reflection: If we love God, why don't we bring good out of evil? Think of Him waiting for us to do something while wondering, "If they love me, why won't they.... ?"

You just might be the most tortured soul here.

there is a difference between bad and evil -

evil does not naturally occur, and in most cases is directed for a purpose beneficial for what is being used to generate its presence - that is what jesus taught can be alleviated and what the heavens expect for there to be heaven on earth that is the self determination a&e chose for humanity.

"God’s delays are mysterious; sorrow is sometimes prolonged for the same reason for which it is sent. God may abstain for the moment from healing, not because Love does not love, but because Love never stops loving, and a greater good is to come from the woe. Heaven’s clock is different from ours." —Fulton J. Sheen
By choice
You see the worlds problems are by choice, even our negative defeatest approach, our blocking out of good sound advice over group affiliation pride & or human ego.
IT'S by choice that we do not seek one understanding through defining the most finite source and power in life, so that with the most finite expression we no longer use subjective opinions on what is in line or opposing that purpose and direction in life. With knowledge of how things are and how things could be and how to recognize good or bad right or wrong without it being mere subjective opinions then we have something we never had, known purpose, known goals, known direction, know how to recognize true opposition to life and true reflections and manifestations of it's essence.

Like I said, we chose not to simply define the simplest of things and that's by choice, we simply choose to live this way. If you don't believe me then why is there a huge difference in how people live country to country, community to community, school district to school district, and from camps outside prison to being inside prisons?

People in prison choose to live in agression, rage, violence, fear, gang mentality, ego/pride, revenge, hate/anger, selfishness, animosity, and thus live in their own hell and yet it could be like a sleep over camp where they work together and enjoy each others time or like a commune where paradise is possible as they make things good for one another taking away burdens, sharing chores, interests etc, all by choice. Neighborhoods same way, end violent behavior and threats and crime and you build value in property and community and higher pay with better jobs and more conveniences.
Once again by choice.

also there can not be good with out bad

what is bad, yes, inevitable to stub ones toe is not a philosophical discourse - one can not triumph over bad. bad things happen.

could that be evil the christian exclaims - why is there evil ... reasons for such exist as in the desert bibles their use of deceptive reasoning for them to acquire servitude than what is sought as heavenly free will.

as taught in the 1st century events - evil must be overcome for an individual to free their spirit.

Gods will= Mortals know only good, never sick, never without, etc-The fallen anointed Cherub lied to Eve and she stabbed not only God in the back but all mortals ever since by choosing to know both good and Bad. Gods kingdom will cure it all and Gods original purpose will be a reality, but never with a chance of a rebellion like occurred in Eden. All rebels are being rooted out.

"Pick One of the Above" Leaves Us Below

We don't determine what the choices are, so my objection goes deeper than your smug and shallow point of view.
Deeper, as in down the rabbit hole? ;)

I'm talking about choice as a verb, not a noun.
