No, Fast & Furious DIDN'T track guns being smuggled into Mexico! They sold those weapons KNOWING that they couldn't track them! They knew that because the Bush Administration had attempted to do so with the cooperation of the Mexican government and realized they COULDN'T track them which is why the program was halted!

So why would the Obama Administration resurrect a program that was stopped because it was impossible to track weapons being smuggled across the border? The answer to that is quite simple. They never INTENDED to track the weapons! If they HAD then they would have coordinated with the Mexican authorities! They wanted to show that stricter gun control measures were needed because guns being bought in the US were being smuggled across the border to be used by criminals. They didn't CARE if people in Mexico got killed with the guns that were smuggled. They didn't even stop the program when one of the smuggled guns killed a US Border Patrol agent! They ONLY stopped it when other Border Patrol agents went to the media and Congress...revealing what Eric Holder's Justice Department was doing with Fast & Furious!
