Why Republicans will win in 2022

Yup. Same thing happened after Biden “won.” After four years of the Dems on the warpath against Trump, weaponizing the FBI to bring him down and screaming “raaaaacist!” at every Trump voter, they were all “let’s all agree to be nice and support the president.”

Funny how their theme song changes from Eye Of The Tiger to Kumbia.

I am a Democrat, but partisan feelings aside the GOP will have a good election in 2022. True to form, left wing voters just don't go the polls as much as Republicans in midterm elections. Republicans are more likely to turn out than Democrats (72% of Republicans versus 67% of Democrats), while 59% of Independents say they’ll vote.

Bill Clinton once said: "Getting Democrats to agree on a course of action is like herding cats" Democrats....you're shooting yourselves in the foot again. If you want to hold on to power, you have to show up and vote, and fewer of you do in the midterms, so don't blame the GOP if they win. You'll have no one to blame but your lazy voter base! :disbelief:

Here’s Who’s Most Likely To Vote In The November Midterms, Poll Finds
But democrats will be, yet again, telling The Big Lie - gerrymandering and vote suppression cost them the election. Will Stacey Abrams concede this time?

Fact is though, 70% of Americans think the country is headed in the wrong direction and Democrats campaign slogan is, "Let's keep on going in this same direction!". So, you're right, Republicans and Independents will be be out there voting for the country going in a different direction while diehard Democrats hunker down at home, not wanting to go out and vote for the country continuing in the same direction. They will find it hard to get out and vote for pro-choice at the expense of continuing with high inflation and an economy that has to be put into recession in order to bring prices down.

I don't see that as yet. I have seen other polls that say voter enthusiasm is even. In addition, we have to throw in actual election results. Democrats have outperformed during several special election. In addition, turnout has been higher than expected in these races. In a swing district in New York, the democrat won. In Alaska, the Democrat won and November looks to be just as close. In a Minnesota House district, the GOP retained a seat by 4 points in a district that went for Trump by close to 15. In addition, Democrats are poised to take 2 incumbent Republican seats in Washington state and Michigan. In Washington state, a GOP bundler is working to elect the Democrat in that seat because the GOP candidate is a radical right wing Republican. Michigan looks to be a disaster for Republicans because of the vote on adding abortion rights to in the Constitution and a vote on new voting rights. Women have become the first group in history to lose rights in this country. How they react will be key.

The thing that I will look at is turnout especially in states that feature early voting and mail in ballots. If these are high then Republicans are in trouble. The trouble with some of the recent polling data is that they may be oversampling Republicans.

Honestly, I think if Democrats want to hold onto power, they need to start focusing more on what most concerns Americans - and it is NOT climate change, 57 pronouns, CRT and equity, being welcoming to illegal immigrants, and so forth. Even abortion is 5th or 6th on the list.

Democrats are completely out of touch. And vilifying most Republicans as “threats to democracy” has energized all of them to turn out at the polls. That was a really stupid thing Biden did.

Republicans are out of touch. Their agenda is not popular among voters. The results in special elections have been interesting. Democrats have picked up a swing district in New York, a house seat in Alaska and in a House district won by Trump by 15 points, the GOP won by 4.

Because the Demoncrat Party is completely batshit insane.

The bad news is that the nation will be delivered back into the hands of the exact corporatist neocon "republican" assholes who made Trump possible.

Yeah, sure. That's what always happens. They over sample Republicans. :laughing0301:

You have to be a complete idiot to vote Democrat given what they did do this country. Record inflation, crashing stock market, highest interest rates in 14 years, record gasoline prices, and now it's going up again, worst border problem in over 20 years with 2 million already in the country, grocery prices highest in history, the closest we've been to a nuclear war since the 60s.......

There hasn't been one positive thing to happen to this country since Dementia took over, and you really believe that a majority of people will go to the polls and say "Yeah, I want more of this!"

Why Republicans will win in 2022
Because all politics are local - that's the problem.

While a majority of Americans oppose the GOP agenda, understand that many – if not most – Republican candidates are unfit to hold public office, and realize that conservatives propagate misinformation and lies, the nation as a whole is held hostage to an electoral process that facilitates and maintains the tyranny of Republican minority rule.

This in conjunction with gerrymandering in Republican controlled states, voter suppression measures passed by Republican lawmakers, and Democrats’ infamous propensity for not voting during midterms.

I think the problem runs much deeper than that. Partisan politics have driven the two sides into opposite corners and neither has any interest in leading by consensus. They both just work to eek out a narrow victory and then slam their agenda through on party line votes. This, of course, pisses off enough people that those responsible get voted out of office. Not all of them, of course, but enough to swing the pendulum back the other way. Then the other side goes to work slamming their shit in. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Democrats will lose in November because they failed to learn a fucking thing after losing to Trump in 2016.

Except that the pendulum hasn't swung the other way since at least Coolidge,....The Overton window keeps getting dragged farther and farther to the authoritarian left no matter who's in charge.

Democrats are going to get slaughtered for one reason and one reason only, they are destroying this country. There hasn't been one positive thing to happen to our country since Dementia took over. Everything has been a negative.

The goal right now is to stop Dementia at any cost before he does more harm to our country. Work with the other side???? When was the last time the Democrats ever gave into the Republicans agenda without getting something more in return? When Republicans give into the Democrats like this last stupid assault weapons ban, what did we get out of it? How about the phony infrastructure bill?

We Republicans are sick of getting screwed. That's why we elected Trump in the first place. Working with Democrats means you do it their way, or the highway. That's it.

The goal is to stop Nazi Republicans from further attacking this country. You attack voting rights, free speech rights, the freedom to travel and other rights. Republicans want to terrorize groups of people because they have different beliefs. We need stronger gun controls in this country. Women are the first groups to lose rights in the history of this country. The Constitution does mention well-regulated. If this infrastructure bill is so phony then why are Republicans claiming credit for getting money from it? That includes Boebart and Greene.

You Nazis are the ones screwing us., The Republican Party no longer exists. Ronald Reagan wou;ld never be a part of this party.

Worse, Republicans will incorrectly infer that winning control of the House will be an ‘endorsement’ of the GOP agenda by the American people – when in fact nothing could be further from the truth.

The tyranny of Republican minority rule will nonetheless prevail, to the detriment of America.

I'm sure he'd be more radical given the loss of the US to Communists.

Who attacked the country? You mean a couple hundred yahoos that broke into the capital and took selfies at Piglosi's desk? That's what you call an attack on our country? Not the 2 million illegals that crossed our border, not the over 100,000 Americans that died from fentanyl overdose, the nationwide riots coast to coast over some lowlife career criminal drug addict?

Nobody is restricted to travel. You want to go somewhere, you just go. We need stronger control over a Constitutional right? How Nazi of you. If abortion is a right, show me where that right is written.

…and it's over because YOU and YOUR MADNESS could not just accept the results of an election like Americans have for two centuries.
:huh1:
You realize that your fellow Republicans are guilty of exactly what you are criticizing, right?

you can name a single meaningful metric that is better the last 2 years than it was the previous 4.

your complete bullshit diatribe is laughable.
