No, you have to define your terms.Google it.
1. You breathe oxygen, drink water, and eat foodIt said it “advocates the preservation of democracy” and claims it sees German citizens as equal “regardless of someone’s ethnic or cultural background.” However, the party said it “clearly opposes an Islamist religious practice that is directed against the free democratic basic order, our laws and against the Judeo-Christian and humanistic foundations of our culture.”
It’s not just Muslims the AfD has offended. This year, its leader, Björn Höcke, was found guilty of knowingly using a Nazi slogan — “Everything for Germany!” — at a 2021 rally.
These parties often share Trumpian protectionist policies — from backing trade tariffs to opposing arming Ukraine — as well as economic populism, aspects of which have been more traditionally associated with the left: supporting pensions and social services, raising some taxes on the wealthy while lowering them for the working class, or price controls on rent and food during periods of high inflation.
The commonality is undeniable. Not that it will stop you folks from denying it.
Of note, I'm not calling trump supporters Nazis. I'm pointing out the parallels between far Right parties and the POT, party of trump.
You must think posting stupid things advances your cause. It doesn't.1. You breathe oxygen, drink water, and eat food
2. Adolph Hitler breathed oxygen, drank water, and ate food
WOW.. you and your politics are dangerous!!!!
IRONYYou must think posting stupid things advances your cause. It doesn't.
This “ideology of ethnic replacement” and “demographic redefinition,” which the parties are seeking to solve with an “expulsion of migrants,” sounds “awful when you think of the Nazism of the past,” said Nadia Urbinati, a politics professor at Columbia University.
The professor's words, not mine.
Overpopulation is the primary driver of all our problems. This world is finite. That means everything is limited. More people = more people fighting for this world's limited resources. That's the bottom line. Everything is being sought after and the world is paying a dear price to have such selfish, greedy beings on the top of the food chain. While Americans have long clashed over our country’s cruel and bigoted past, Germans have undertaken one of the most thoroughgoing efforts of any nation on the planet to reckon with their history. Germany, perhaps more than any other country, has attempted to pull out by the roots its homegrown variant of the reactionary spirit — the tendency of opponents of social change to choose hierarchy over democracy, trying to constrain or even topple democracy to protect hierarchies of wealth and status.
The Nazis were born out of disgust with post-World War I Weimar democracy, led by men furious about both the new government’s weakness and acceptance of the Jewish minority into German society. After Nazism brought Germany to ruin, preventing a reactionary resurgence became one of the central goals of the country’s subsequent leaders.
So it’s all the more extraordinary that in the past few years, Germany’s far right has been on the rise.
In 2015, at the peak of the global refugee crisis, German chancellor Angela Merkel announced an open-door policy for those fleeing violence in Syria and elsewhere. In response, the Alternative for Deutschland (AfD) party, a Euroskeptic faction without a single seat in Parliament, morphed into a virulently xenophobic force calling for Germany to slam Merkel’s open door shut.
In 2017’s national elections, AfD won 94 seats in the Bundestag, turning it into Germany’s third-largest political party.
Opposing the country’s approach to the migration policy did not, in and of itself, make AfD a threat to German democracy. But over time the party’s behavior has become more and more troubling.

Fascinating article on a well covered subject. Namely, the conditions leading to a rise of far right parties espousing authoritarian governance. A nativist reaction to immigration, or a poisoning of the nation's blood, being primary among them.
Germans have undertaken one of the most thoroughgoing efforts of any nation on the planet to reckon with their history.
Will we do the same some day?
Trump says immigrants are ‘poisoning the blood of our country.’ Biden campaign likens comments to Hitler.

Why would I care ultimately about the opinion of a free-loader at a radical institution who lives in an ivory tower? LOL.You must think posting stupid things advances your cause. It doesn't.

“I’m mad my candidate lost, so now I have to throw a temper tantrum and assign the worst traits possible to the opponent and their supporters because I’m so angry”
See? Your post could have been so much shorter.
Trump is about to release 1,500+ traitors who rioted through the halls of our nations Capitol on 1/6. I dont think the red hat morons realize how historic that day was and how it will be remembered in history. If trump goes through with that, trust me he will regret it.While Americans have long clashed over our country’s cruel and bigoted past, Germans have undertaken one of the most thoroughgoing efforts of any nation on the planet to reckon with their history. .And he's giving them your address.
Interesting. You should start a thread on the topic. This one is about the rise of right wing extremism around the world.Overpopulation is the primary driver of all our problems. This world is finite. That means everything is limited. More people = more people fighting for this world's limited resources. That's the bottom line. Everything is being sought after and the world is paying a dear price to have such selfish, greedy beings on the top of the food chain.
Do you feel the need to dismiss his expert opinion because it disagrees with yours or because you can't refute any of what he wrote? Why would I care ultimately about the opinion of a free-loader at a radical institution who lives in an ivory tower? LOL.
Did you learn nothing from this election?
