There's not any comparison between Bush and Trump. While it was tense in 2000, in Florida, Bush never alienated the population with offensive, degrading, insulting remarks--directly aimed at certain color, religion or gender. So Democrats while disappointed came around and embraced him as their President. Bush respected everyone in this country, and treated every race, every religion, and both genders with equality, respect and dignity.

Unlike Donald Trump who spent his entire campaign attacking large voting blocks with offensive, insulting degrading remarks, dividing this country in every direction possible. If Trump isn't going to respect the American population as a whole, then they won't respect him, nor embrace him as their President. IOW these protests will continue from here on out--and they will NEVER accept Donald Trump as their President. The million women march in Washington D.C. is scheduled the day after he is sworn in.

For the first time in this nations history, the President elect has had to barricade himself inside of the Trump tower, and his communication with the outside world has been reduced to a Tweety account.
