Here's a folklore adapted apocalypto tale titled World War X inspired by the wasteland-survivalism film Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome.
I like hysteria-storytelling for our commerce-obsessed 'TrumpUSA,' since, after all, traffic should be evaluated in terms of 'mass innocence.'
We don't want future generations to say, "There were two generations of wasteful consumerism --- Reaganomics and Trumponomics --- which gave birth to multiple levels of 'traffic apathy'."
Why not imagine that TrumpUSA will generate pro-populism excitement the way the JFK and FDR eras did? Maybe that's extreme, but honestly, TrumpUSA could feel consumerism-superficial very fast! We have to rescue the American optimism towards shopping (e.g., Brewster's Millions).
So this tale is a nice 'sarcasm advertisement.' It's probably my final post on USMB (so be kind but feel free to make idealism jokes)...
Are you a bigger fan of Donald Trump or Melania Trump?
Enjoy!
====
Shiva (Hindu god of destruction) became the apocalyptic road-warrior named Mad Max.
Bane (artificially strength-enhanced 'super-psycho') became the hockey-masked nemesis Lord Humungus.
The apocalypse had begun and the staging ground would be the highways and roads of America.
All that was required now was 'Starbucks-culture false-prophets' (e.g., British Petroleum)...
