Most of us have bought online, even health insurance is readily available, as long as it's from a private company. But when the govt socializes health insurance and sets up a website, nothing works.

The best flop that $600 million could buy.

A few years back, obozo promised us that setting up the website would cost $94 million. Now he says $634 million and only an idiot believes that number. It's prolly well over a billion. On top of that it doesn't work.

Obozo is a clown and simply doesn't know how to do things. He's never had a real job in his life let alone an executive job.

When RomneyCare launched in Massachusetts, it was a rolling wreck. A disaster. There were massive cost overruns. A lot of people were predicting its imminent demise.

Five years later, 74 percent of the people of Massachusetts said they want to keep RomneyCare around.

74 percent. That's a super-super-majority.

If you are creaming your jeans over some startup troubles of a web site on Day One, you are missing the forest for the trees. Five years from now, 74 percent of Americans are going to steamroll right over you.

so far....i cant get on the website and do anything....

You should write an angry letter to your state legislators demanding to know why they refuse to set up a state health insurance exchange and are forcing you to use the federal one. While you are at it, demand them to explain why they are denying you the subidies which would have come to you via state exchanges to help pay for your insurance. Now you won't get any subsidies. You really need to lay into your state legislators. They are fucking you in the ass.

If you live in one of the states which set up a health insurance exchange, you do not need the federal web site. Go to your state insurance exchange web site. The state exchanges and their web sites are running far more smoothly.

For those of you who don't have a state exchange, your state legislators fucked you in the ass, and you need to let them know how you feel about that. You are going to be denied hard money. Your fellow citizens who have state exchanges are getting a better deal on their insurance.

The problems with the federal exchange are evidence that ObamaCare is going to be extremely popular. It means there is a high demand.

The site looks like it was put together by a 3 year old. My grandmother could do a better job and she is illiterate when it comes to computers!

And 5 years from now my premiums will still be double, if not triple by then.
For what? The same goddamn coverage?

Oh- right. Pregnancy is covered.

ObamaCare was classic bait and switch. All that rhetoric during the debates leading up to its passage was about per capita spending on healthcare compared to other countries. It was all about bending the cost curve downward.

But ObamaCare won't bend the per capita spending down.

Obama only knows how to move wealth around, not create it.

Nevertheless, five years from now, polling is going to show Americans by a large majority will want to keep ObamaCare around. The sooner the GOP wakes up to this reality, the better.

Ask around. Ask everyone you know. Ask them what the GOP's plan is to fix our seriously broken healthcare system. You will get nothing but shrugs. And that is how the GOP left a giant hole for ObamaCare to drive through.

As i understand it, if you use the federal exchange you can't get a subsidy!!!! That's a real pain if you're poor and have to pay the full say $800 per month. The state exchanges give you a big discount or subsidy or whatever that want to call it.

What is so seriously broken about the present system? My only complaint with it is that illegals get free health care all they want at ERs.

The state exchanges aren't working well either.
